  1. I think they do- I've seen a ticket lying around that said "MILITARY DISCOUNT" on it, so yeah.
  2. The bright paint looks nice, but that will fade, just like NU's did. And, honestly, the ride names are abysmal.
  3. While I do think the question was rude, it is a valid point...
  4. Oh gosh, that's hilarious. I wonder if he actually thought that was true?
  5. ^ There's a Taco Bell on Kings Island Drive. I eat there all the time.
  6. I doubt that most members on here would know why it was down, and anyone who did know is not allowed to post that information pubically... It was down for a launch issue. Maintenance came and from what I could see pushed the train back into the station. I couldn't see much cause there was this giant in front of me. But they tested the ride like 5 times, and riders were then let on the ride again... Cedarpointer if I get in trouble for "disclosing" this information... I'll give you a call. Well, actually, I was referring to employees who would know, but whatever.

  8. "Don't we get free food if we have a gold pass?" Noooo......
  9. Oh, if only we could sprinkle some pixie dust on the rides and make them work... sadly, it's not that easy. At least Diamondback and most of the bigger attractions stayed open!
  10. I'm impressed! The ride is great now. It's NOT for kids anymore (I saw multiple kids crying in the exit area), but it is an improvment. The transition from the Boocifer showdown yo the happy forest makes no sense though.
  11. Yes, but only employees are allowed to use them!! Well, obviously. Wait, I bet guests actually try to use them. Ugh!
  12. *CedarPointer remembers his prediction of the ride not being family-friendly anymore...*
  13. Unless that is a new policy, I have personally seen a Flight of Fear souvenir cup filled during operating season, soooo...
  14. I'm kind of disappointed that they end with the 1990's. Why do they feel it isn't necessary to have songs that MY generation grew up with?
  15. It bugs me when the basketballs end up in the landscaping and fountains. Some people are such slobs! N
  16. I wish they would stop calling Boob Blasters and Planet Snoopy "new". Wasn't the park kind of careful not to call Boo Blasters "new" for a while? I think I even pointed it out on here. They are newly themed, but they are not new.
  17. While I can understand why they would want local food in the park (who would go to Cincy and not try Skyline or Larosa's at one point?), I'm not a huge fan of its placement in Oktoberfest and International Street... Panda Express? Really?
  18. Isn't Finnish Fling at Worlds of Fun a Rotor? I love that thing! If only they'd run it at full speed... even Paris Hilton couldn't stick to the wall at the speed they run it now!* *this is an exaggeration, duh.
  19. There were sprinkles last year... I even got them once. Weird.
  20. Knowing people who I know personally who visit this site, I can assure you that there are. Since it is during September, when the park is usually closed most of the time, it's not exactly hard to figure out that it's a private event.
  21. I wouldn't mind it if it were the only smoking area in the park (it's rather large, you know). But I think people are far more likely to use one near, say, Diamondback, then one that's an empty spot that nobody uses anyway. They should seriously consider moving Starbucks to the current Airbrush or Funnel stand, and use Tower Gardens as a cafe-type area.
  22. No, but seriously, we have coupons? He couldn't possibly be thinking of trying to use a Graeter's coupon... could he?
  23. Terpy never ceases to amaze me...
