  1. I'm impressed! The ride is great now. It's NOT for kids anymore (I saw multiple kids crying in the exit area), but it is an improvment. The transition from the Boocifer showdown yo the happy forest makes no sense though.
  2. Yes, but only employees are allowed to use them!! Well, obviously. Wait, I bet guests actually try to use them. Ugh!
  3. *CedarPointer remembers his prediction of the ride not being family-friendly anymore...*
  4. Unless that is a new policy, I have personally seen a Flight of Fear souvenir cup filled during operating season, soooo...
  5. I'm kind of disappointed that they end with the 1990's. Why do they feel it isn't necessary to have songs that MY generation grew up with?
  6. It bugs me when the basketballs end up in the landscaping and fountains. Some people are such slobs! N
  7. I wish they would stop calling Boob Blasters and Planet Snoopy "new". Wasn't the park kind of careful not to call Boo Blasters "new" for a while? I think I even pointed it out on here. They are newly themed, but they are not new.
  8. While I can understand why they would want local food in the park (who would go to Cincy and not try Skyline or Larosa's at one point?), I'm not a huge fan of its placement in Oktoberfest and International Street... Panda Express? Really?
  9. Isn't Finnish Fling at Worlds of Fun a Rotor? I love that thing! If only they'd run it at full speed... even Paris Hilton couldn't stick to the wall at the speed they run it now!* *this is an exaggeration, duh.
  10. There were sprinkles last year... I even got them once. Weird.
  11. Knowing people who I know personally who visit this site, I can assure you that there are. Since it is during September, when the park is usually closed most of the time, it's not exactly hard to figure out that it's a private event.
  12. I wouldn't mind it if it were the only smoking area in the park (it's rather large, you know). But I think people are far more likely to use one near, say, Diamondback, then one that's an empty spot that nobody uses anyway. They should seriously consider moving Starbucks to the current Airbrush or Funnel stand, and use Tower Gardens as a cafe-type area.
  13. No, but seriously, we have coupons? He couldn't possibly be thinking of trying to use a Graeter's coupon... could he?
  14. Terpy never ceases to amaze me...
  15. It's on the online map. And, it's *not* a debate on smoking in the park, it's on one of the few quiet, relaxing areas still left being turned into a smoking area.
  16. Was Tower Gardens previously a smoking area? I don't remember it being one, and it's the only quiet, peaceful area in the park. I really hope they change their minds on this, because that was a great place to relax, and it won't be if it's a smoking area.
  17. I think the "moment of truth" is whether they fix those errors or not. I made a list of errors on the old site, a few of which ended up fixed, but not all of them.
  18. I was hoping that someone would get one little spark out of it...
  19. Yes, I didn't understand that they wouldn't put a roller coasters category. But, if they had separate categories, there would be barely any rides in the Thrill Rides section. Maybe we should just put all the "5" thrill rating rides into the Thrill Rides section. Oh, wait, that's nearly everything.
  20. CedarPointer, hoping someone understands this...
  21. Or we should have "Roller Coasters" as a separate category from Thrill Rides and Family Rides, like CP.
  22. I'm not 100% sure (it's been a loooooong time since I've been there), but I don't think the lasers on Scooby at Canada's Wonderland showed the red dots.
