  1. It'd be really cool if Cedar Fair took the whole park and themed it to the magic of movies... oh, wait...
  2. While is is a boring track, they must make money on it if they are continuing to staff it (don't they usually have 3 associates there?).
  3. Does anyone remember if Coney Skyline has the full menu that I-Street Skyline has (salads, desserts), or does it just have the chili/cheese/onion/bean assembly items? Thanks!
  4. Here's an idea: they could stop answering questions about it...
  5. Invertigo is one of the less sucky names... I wish, in PS, they had gone with less character namesake rides- like Lolli Swing at CP, and Character Carousel at KI. Tied into the theme, but not named after a character. (that would avoid multiple "Linus" rides)
  6. I'd go with a Kings Island Jr. theme (Kids Island?). It's basically free, and it doesn't rely on a franchise that kids aren't familiar with.
  7. SFMM and SFGAdv are SF's flagships IIRC. (I think CP and Knott's are CF's?)
  8. Would you create more competition for two of your own major parks by selling a park to your competitors? No? Exactly. While I disagree with their action from an enthusiast standpoint, I have to agree with it from a business standpoint. Many of the CF parks benefited from GL's closing, and CP has less competition.
  9. I guess it's a good idea if one were to visit both parks. It would be wise for them to include Extra Magic Hour (it's like KI's DB/Beast ERT) for those passholders, as a bonus for people who won't be visiting both resorts.
  10. And the Diamondback vehicle! (visible from the Eiffel Tower last year...)
  11. So, is that why their legal address (it's on my work permit) is 6300 Kings Island Dr, Kings Island, OH?
  12. I'd rather have that than Lucy's Crappie Cabbie.
  13. How does Woodstock Express not fit it?
  14. However, that breaks the pictures. The PS pictures still work on PKI.com.
  15. I would prefer it with different colored lights... green would really add to the theme (and they could dim them a bit)
  16. I wonder if any of the Phantom Theater sets weren't actually removed from the ride area... Disney has been known to do that.
  17. It is meant to be... there... so that you can't slip out under the restraint. This is especially true for, for example, Moser Drop Towers. It would be incredibly easy to slip under the restraint if that bump wasn't there.
  18. They could have just the predrop area showing on the map, have it translucent, and have a note underneath that says "Son of Beast will not operate for the 2010 season." It still could be used as a point of reference for guests, but it would be obvious that it isn't operating.
  19. IIRC, we were told that we were not receiving new attractions as part of our retheme when it was announced.
  20. $10 says that she would be offended if I told her that all journalists were sleazy liars who would exaggerate anything just to get readers. Yes, the amusement park industry does have a few bad apples... but doesn't any industry?
  21. If it were to be radically different from SDatHC, KI would be advertising it as a new attraction. They aren't, so it's not.
  22. Swoop makes a heck of a lot more sense, considering the area's theme at the time and the design of the ride...
  23. Because he didn't think that we were going to pick apart his every word?
