Vortex's Trains
Actually, every lead axle is extremely heavy to make up for the weight that is not there. Without that weight, the axle could not effectively steer the train and would slip. There are two axles in the 'zero car'. The front axle can roll while the rear axle I believe helps turn the train. The other cars on the train can roll, pitch, and yaw. Which is pretty much the ability to rotate along the Z-axis(longitudinal axis), X-axis(rotation on lateral axis),and Y -axis(rotation on vertical axis) . May sound a little crazy... lol.

Hows things running now?
I went Friday from three to close, and all day yesterday and only noticed one ride down. Delirium was down for about an hour or so. Other than that, everything seemed to operate normal.

Something big announced 3-18-11?
The other runs a huge internet site with a club attached, and makes bigtime money on his trips. And he has the maturity of a 13 year old. Which is really sad, lol.

Are you a 1960's Lousiana baptist church preacher? I read your post and you sounded like one.

Planning?
Also, about that topography map....that area (particularly the bit closest to X-Base) is both severely forested and very hilly. The area they're "planning" on (inside the the pink lines) is actually somewhat flat.

First fully vertical wooden roller coaster!
IDK to me sob seems fragile. On the dip right before the big drop ever see it flex? I can see it from the parking lot. I know its supposed to do it but it just makes it seem fragile to me. I'm guessing you haven't seen Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta. That sway is nothing compared to Son of Beast's.

What could really put Kings Island on the Map
To my knowledge, Will Koch did not want Voyage to have a loop in it. If he had, and Gravity Group would not do it, knowing Will Koch, he would have found someone who would have done it... I trust you, just thought someone had found an article in German, and when translated into English it talked about how the Voyage at Holiday World was designed to have a loop in it, after President Will Koch rode Son of Beast and thought they could do better. http://www.coastersa...ge/voyage.shtml Site has some cool pictures! It's a good article, might wanna translate it and read through it. Translated:
