Pretty cool "shout out" and mention by the park, and it's good to see the park and this site are in good standing I am impressed that he actually has been looking at this website and this forums! Show's that he is keeping and eye out for our feedback and also enjoying every minute of our "investigation". Don actually is on here and posts every so often himself. He is a great guy. What i am having trouble understanding is why would this particular coaster cost so much? Lets just say it is an invert. Why so much more of a price tag than other inverts around the world?Theme, could be new type of invert that costs a lot, steel price has gone upDiamondback was the park's biggest investment and S.O.B. was the second so it would also have to be the things surrounding it. Also, could it have just been that the demolition of S.O.B. was considered part of the coaster's cost? Good point that I didn't think of. Demolition can be very very expensive, especially for a job like SOB. I would think if its their biggest investment though, they are factoring it as the ride/theming/construction itself, not the demolition of SOB. That makes it more expensive regardless of the price to build.

I was not a fan of the name at first. Once I first heard it I was actually kind of turned off, solely based off of the appeal it had to me. After reading up on it more and seeing the teaser and clues that were put up, I am liking it much much more. C'mon Thursday, get here already!

Yeah, the second I read that I connected that together. So I think we can all agree that Banshee is looking like the name no matter what at this point. Too many signs point to it.

See, thats what has thrown me off about the idea of it being the most expensive investment for CF. There has to be something huge in the works that the "blueprints" are not showing us. Thursday is not coming fast enough.

Technically what a Banshee is is a woman or hag that screams and wails foretelling a death and after a death within the family. I think itd be cool to have a flailing wild Banshee crying for the fallen Son of Beast. Thank you for the lesson there, I honestly had no idea. I think Banshee and think of monsters for some reason. I agree that idea would be really cool. I think a highly themes queue in general would be neat. I love the idea of getting the "theme" back to KI. Wikipedia among other sites has some really interesting information on the word or creature or whatever ya wanna call it! While reading on wikipedia, I found out now why the Owl is involved. So all and all a very informational night haha.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is some homage to the SOB, especially with the flyer. My idea would be like a couple i've read, where the Banshee (if that is the name) had a showdown with the SOB and killed him. I think it would be pretty cool to have a queue depicting the events.

So just to throw this out there, I heard from a close friend who had an orientation session at the park today for his new position, that this attraction (coaster), is going to be the most expensive CF project to date. Now I can neither confirm or deny that it is true, but just the thought of that excites me a ton!

Got the text, and subsequently, my friends have already planned to be there that day before we even heard about it. So Excited!

There is a decorative monorail near the front of jungle jims. It sits on track not connected to the other track. Follow the other track around the building complex and you will find that it makes its way all the way to the housing unit for the trains. They use it for special occasions. I've driven by so many times. Does it literally run from the station to the front entrance and back? Thats about as far as the track goes if I remember right.

It won't. Also, if they really want things to go fast, they can always get a bigger crew. Also, even if these are clues, I highly doubt a winged coaster, regardless of how much sense it makes. Why would CF want to rival their most innovative/record breaking ride, 1 year after it was built?

I wear shorts with button pockets, and no issues. I've had some close moments before, but I've started coming up with positioning on rides that prevent movement too. Its pretty much push my phone side leg more on the side of the seat though.

Maverick is themed pretty cool if you ask me. Also, to the Mean Streak haters, how can you hate it! What a great ride. One of my favorite woodies that I've ever ridden. (I realize how bad that sounds)
