  1. I was looking very closely at the blueprints and I totally agree.
  2. I would imagine there would be some change in the shop as far as merchandise goes, so thats a pretty safe assumption.
  3. Will you be able to save the stream? I will be there, but would love to be able to post a video for friends who can't.
  4. Happy? Anything else that shouldn't have been left off? I'll print them if there's enough interest, as long as I can get name badges through the printer without them jamming. If you're interested and will be at KI on Thursday, let me know so I can get an approximate count. Also see the meet-up thread: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27900-aug-8-announcement-meet-up I won't be there on Thursday but I would still like one for my trip to KI next week. I will be there Thursday, please print some, cause I will totally wear it all day!
  5. Well, I obviously missed a lot today. If it is in fact a wing coaster, I say cool, but please god be a different layout than GK, which I would hope they do. I think the picture of GK on the "site" is just a placeholder for the time being.
  6. We should maybe buy the young stud domain now then! haha
  7. Yeah, we were researching some of this further back in the thread. It could be very interesting if the name is in fact not "Banshee" as to what the clues will point to.
  8. Thanks Don! Can't wait to hear from you Thursday!
  9. Check out post #8: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27933-2014-attraction-twitter/ Thank you very much sir!
  10. Yeah, I watched a worker at the bank a ball game hit like 10 in a row. its all in the technique and practice. I have beaten a majority of the games at the park at some point in time, and I can attest that it is definitely those 2 attributes that really win you the games. Its fun to test your skill on some, especially if its one you haven't played after a while.
  11. I will definitely be doing this. I don't know how many of you use VINE, but I will be posting something on vine from the announcement. Hopefully a "KIC" chant!
  12. I wouldn't mind seeing a new family ride, but the Midway needs to stay as it. I love the games. When we went this summer I spent quite a bit on all the classic pinball machines.
  13. Contractors hate to pay unnecessary overtime, or work Sundays! I would say come tomorrow morning some activity will be happening. If not to the actual construction site itself, to the announcement site.
  14. I thought I would have at least 10 pages, I think I had about 5-6.
  15. I know a handful of coaster clubs/groups are coming, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see at least 10-20 cameras getting the whole press conference.
  16. Might as well speculate up until the next millennium..
  17. It would be interesting to see a new variation of a coaster, Not necessarily a new type all together, but something different for that type.
  18. Uh oh, we better start the thread now!i can very well see the possibility there is alot of room to be left for waste behind the 2014 coaster... Jut picture a terrain hugging giga coaster will alot of speed whipping thru those hills... I don't see Kings Island doing back to back to back b&m coasters, this park does not have an intanim which is another hole the park can fill, after filling the full circuit invert coaster hole. I am a huge fan of Intamin designs. I haven't ridden a lot of them, but the ones I have, I love. I think that would be awesome to have in the park. Maybe we can take over tallest/longest/fastest from whoever has the record at the time. I love speculating about the years to come, because it gives me hope in the advancement of innovations that will be made for rides to come! I'm off to work though, I look forward to reading through about 10 pages of this topic when I get back!
  19. Uh oh, we better start the thread now!
  20. I would rather have i305's restraints than Mavericks! trust me they're way more comfy! Edit spelling They are very similar though. I haven't ridden i305, but I have heard that from many.
  21. My big thing here, that I haven't seen discussed, is that I want to have more free restraints. Meaning I want them, if over the shoulder, to be more like, say a Maverick type restraint. I say this because with Gatekeeper, those are just uncomfortable restraints to me, and I would hate to have to deal with that if they go the over the shoulder route, which I would imagine will be the case.
  22. I wonder how often we will see updates on construction from Don on the PR front. CP did a great job of that with Gatekeeper. Made me feel like I was there daily almost to see the progress.
  23. Thank you, I was trying to find a good picture of it and I couldn't.
