What's Up With Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular?
Creed Bratton replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Good luck on getting a response that you would find favorable. I sent a letter about the state of the former Paramount Story area and didn't receive a response. So if you do receive a response let us know. -

How to apply for a job at kings island and cedar point
Creed Bratton replied to CP&LERR Fan's topic in Kings Island
It is all dependent on what you apply for. You have I think 3 options of areas you'd like to work. If you put rides as number 1, if all checks out on your application (age being a major point) and you interview well you have a good chance on getting a job in rides. -
New in 2014 at Cedar Point!
Creed Bratton replied to kicsehlhorst's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
That's a typical marketing spin. That's all they're going to let us tell you because we need to keep the video under 3 minutes. That's all they're going to let us tell you because we don't have the full details like what that building with the patio may be. -

You are correct meford about housing for workers at Cedar Point. Kings Island does not offer housing for the employees. In all honesty, I don't believe that the best way to get a job at the park is to get as much face to face time with someone inside Public Relations as they do not hire for anyone other than their department. Trying to get face to face time before the park really starts hiring can be detrimental to the process as each department has a lot on their plates before the hiring season begins. -

What's Up With Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular?

The attraction was contracted for 3 seasons beginning in 2010....it was not renewed for this season (as many can tell by the state of the attraction). -
^^ Lol, what? And welcome Rollercoasterfanatic!

That's like saying if you aren't Knotts, KI, CP, or CW you won't get significant investments because you don't bring in money and that's a flaw of a business structure. Why would revenue increase at the other parks if CF never really gave them $ to fund projects like a new coaster, a new flat ride, etc? So to say they should be rewarded for the amount of revenue they produce without any investments into the park that are significant enough to bring in additional monies isn't feasible. I know, that you think Kings Island could expand more in it's ride selections but you've got to remember this isn't the only park out there and rapidly expanding a park can be detrimental (i.e. Six Flags Ohio).

Nevermind. Deleted.

I honestly wonder if a kids area could be removed, 3 kids areas, 1 that I've never seen many kids around (Gemini Children's Area). They could move the entrance to Jr. Gemini into Camp Snoopy. They could expand that midway just a bit wider it does get a little tight during crazy times. And they could put a new family attraction in somewhere (not necessarily a dark ride).

Why the hate for Voyage, it's not re-rideable. I've ridden numerous wooden coasters and coasters in general. Voyage...I can only ride at most twice in a row before I have to go do something else or sit down without feeling ill. That's why there is the hate and for what I understand a portion of why Timberliners were being tested.

I like them both equally. I enjoy Flight Deck only in the front seat though, although will ride it anywhere. Iron Dragon is good in the front or back and as someone else mentioned, the helix over the water is great!

Oh no! /sarcasm.

New Video: Inside Six Flags New Orleans
Creed Bratton replied to PREMiERdrum's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Heartbreaking! It's hard to believe even after all of these years, that one day a park was operating and the next it'd never see the rides running again. -

Also, remember the queue is blocked off where it started to head to "above ground" where the Dinosaurs Alive Birthday area is now.

A ask a employees section
Creed Bratton replied to CP&LERR Fan's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
You were a former park employee, cool well mine are about the trains which you might not know anything. Cool. I may or may not have worked the train. I may or may not have the knowledge. I may or may not have resources to answer your questions or get the answers to your questions. As Terpy said, you'd be surprised who knows what. If you are concerned about your questions being answered only by those who work the KI&MVRR your best bet is to just go to the park and ask them the questions then. -
A ask a employees section
Creed Bratton replied to CP&LERR Fan's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
Negative. The park has asked that the site to take the section down previously and doubt they'd appreciate it again. Some employees are on the site, however, the park strongly discourages posting here. Wouldn't be wise. There are a few former park employees on here, including myself and are able to answer questions you have.
