I think a lot of people do...some only take it as pure truth. And no teasers.....hmm. Oh Mr. Don Helbig, how he changes things up!

Voted for Diamondback. The entire entrance sign is great.

I've stayed at Breakers Express and at Hotel Breakers. To me, it's just a room so I don't need to have anything extremely fancy. I stay at Hotel Breakers for the ability to walk to and from the park to/from my room. The rooms aren't too bad, they're a bit outdated but again, it's just a room to lay my head down. I've never had any uncomfortable stays there. With Breakers Express, it wasn't too bad. It secured early entry into the park, but getting onto the Causeway at that time of morning to head to the park was a bit of a headache.

Carowinds Windseeker Malfunction
Creed Bratton replied to Leland Wykoff's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Where as some of the evacuation platforms are a stones throw away from the ride like at Cedar Point and Kings Island. -
Steel Phantom's trains are still Arrow trains, but have been retrofitted by Morgan which included the restraint change.

When/if Dinosaurs become endangered?
Creed Bratton replied to AintNutinElse2Do's topic in Kings Island
With that, would you think they'd keep the upcharge for the attraction and the dino-themed ride or let the upcharge go? I've pondered that for quite some time and the result I come up with is, I just don't know. -

I hate that the reporter used the term "accidents" on the video from Terp's link. No-one was hurt, no damage, etc. not an accident. Edit: I understand the standard definition of an accident. To call it an accident in light of recent events where no one was hurt and no one was killed, seems a bit much. I find the term accident implies injuries or death. -

When/if Dinosaurs become endangered?
Creed Bratton replied to AintNutinElse2Do's topic in Kings Island
I've known several families that since KI has added D.A. they've made special trips to the park because the park now gave their kids an extra reason to go. You'd be surprised how many people actually visit D.A. while I don't have a specific figure, every time I've passed the area, I've seen numerous families, teens, adults entering the attraction and purchasing tickets. Kings Island's Dinosaurs Alive was the first in the chain, it's the largest out of all of them and has recently added yet another scene (or two) as well as the largest animatronic dinosaur out there. Some scenes are similar to Cedar Points, but it's not an exact replica. -
Quite possibly, or a Jumanji

KICentral Server Change Complete
Creed Bratton replied to Dane's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
Thanks gentlemen! -
What if Board to Death ended up being a board game coming to life. I see it now, those who play the board game because they're bored when all of the sudden the game comes to life and kills the players. Hence, board to death

Thanks for clearing that up Terp!

Death at Six Flags over Texas

I can vouch for the seat belt being a reason it stops on the lift. On opening weekend we got stopped while riding the blue train on the lift for about 25 minutes, with an area supervisor and maintenance worker coming up in the elevator telling us they evacuated a woman behind us due to her seat belt coming undone. Once we got going again we were on the last blue train as they cycled it off and had that seat blocked off later when we got back in line. Edit: after Terpy's post, I figured I needed to add clarification, they did see the seat belt come undone and hang to the side while leaving the station. -
More than likely not. They're not universal and generally they're all just facts about the ride with a little spice to it.

Hiring should be happening soon..not sure on an actual date. I don't think that it's not true that you can't visit Halloween Haunt but more than likely you'll be working each night unless you have an availability issue. I do know that there have been preview nights for those working, where cast members from like 2 mazes or attractions go to 2 other mazes or attractions to check them out and give those in the visited mazes/attractions practice on scaring.

We've mentioned numerous times of this site that lines don't dictate popularity. You are correct Tr0y that Arrow is out of business, but S&S Worldwide currently takes care of Arrow coasters so getting parts isn't as huge of an issue that many may think. As for general, for those who talk about the fact that the thought of the turn around from the brake-run and the transfer shed near the old entrance of Thunder Alley, did anyone think that that area may not be completely finished on footers yet? What I mean is that footers aren't always finished after the first ones have been poured. Think about the footers for Gatekeeper near the front entrance of the park...they weren't all poured as soon as construction started. Those generally were poured after the park closed for the season. So why couldn't project 2014's footers go out toward the midway past the current construction fence. Just some food for thought.

Here's what I'm thinking they could be. Just speculation. Board to Death- Haunted school, similar to the theme of Dent Schoolhouse. I see this going in where Mysteria was. Delta Delta Die- I figured this is either a sorority or fraternity themed haunt. As Ringmaster stated, this could be the replacement for Massacre Manor. I'm sure it'll be a party gone wrong. Backwoods Bayou- I could see two different things with this. One being similar to Blood on the Bayou at Cedar Point's Halloweekends or a sort of summer camp gone wrong. I see this being an actual trail behind Dinosaurs Alive.

Can I ask where you got the assumption that it may be tomorrow? Was there a hint that I missed?

It's totally an intamin.

I'm not trying to be a jerk about it Ryan. I'm not really understanding what the issue is. Yes, I looked at your post in this thread telling people not to trespass. So did someone trespass? What brought this specific topic on. Was it the possibility or something else? chugh just trying to understand.

I'm sorry, but how has the connection been tarnished with the park? Don has even played into the whole "wild goose hunt," but has there been an official announcement via the park or KIC saying that the park no longer wishes to associate with this site? No. The warning at the beginning of this thread is to show you how serious it is, should a member trespass on park property whether in a staging area or a construction area or when the park is not open.
