  1. According to you. Having ridden several B&Ms in my over 250 coaster credits, those two rank as some of the highest in smoothness as well as the best for me.
  2. It’s not the trains themselves. If it were it’d be consistent each ride and train. Have heard numerous people/friends tell me, “don’t ride teal today if you can, it’s rattling,” or “don’t ride purple today, it’s rattling.” And other days those trains are fine. I’m quite aware that Banshee has a new style of trains. As I’ve said, it’s not specific to just Banshee. Doesn’t matter what generation or style of coaster. It happens, most of the time when a wheel is going bad.
  3. The one true thing I'd like to see with Food and Beverage that I think would help solve the line issues are that there'd be dining plan lines and non dining plan lines. It's a pain in the butt waiting behind a couple of families who have to fiddle around to get their payment and then pay, to then get their drink cups and then put their change away before leaving the line. I think each restaurant should be able to do this. It may be a bit harder with those who have the kiosks. But I truly think it'd help.
  4. Banshee isn’t the only coaster that has a rattle, Diamondback does as well. Raptor at CP has rattled before. I’ve even experienced a rattle on Maverick before. It’s lilely the wheels, it’s not specific to Banshee because it has new restraints.
  5. I felt the same on White Water Canyon
  6. Not everyone sees it as a problem though and when you take away options (especially somewhat healthier options) for those who have purchased the drink plan that becomes an issue. That's like saying they are going to take Reds off the dining plan because it gets a long line and busy. It's not as efficient. Those of us who saw when we signed up (even though they state dining locations and options are subject to change) that it was on the dining plan would then have less than what we were originally offered, likely without replacement. That's not okay nor is it good for business. They could take out all soda machines and just leave water fountains with cups next to them and the lines would still be long as heck. You're dealing with the general public. Those of us who visit numerous times a year become pros at it, but there is always a learning curve for those who are first time visitors, older folks, younger folks. You have people that go to drive thru's for fast food restaurants that they have been to thousands of times and you still get stuck behind them because they can't decide what they want to order or their passengers don't know yet. Should they take out drive-thrus because of the long lines/efficiency and folks expectations of immediate gratification? I get that there have been issues with food and beverage service at KI....but the answer isn't to punish those who do it right by taking things away. The answer isn't to make it harder for anyone. The moment it becomes harder to obtain what's paid for (dining/drink plans) the quicker the park will see more folks leaving the park for food (thus spending less $ in the park) or in general. Which I could see having pricing dramatically increase for those of us who want to continue using those plans. It's like the people who refuse to buy the dining plan until the service improves, they are still standing in line and still paying out of pocket for food. It just doesn't make sense. I've always been a supporter of making your voice heard. You pay for this stuff as a pass holder, dining plan purchaser and drink plan purchaser. If this stuff truly bothers you, each time it does....stop in at guest services and make a complaint. Simply voicing it online doesn't exactly help because you aren't taking your time to bring it up when the issue has happened, you wait until you are home and go behind a keyboard to make the complaint. If it wasn't worth your time in park to make a complaint then it's not worth their time to hear about it.
  7. What about those of us who have the Freestyle app and want to have our own mixed drink? Surely you wouldn't want the employees to take the phones to scan it and then hand it back.
  8. Here @gforce1994. Can you answer my question that you've ignored twice in this thread?
  9. They don't offer Powerade Zero or the different flavors for it. The lemonade offered as Kenban says below, is not the best for you. When you visit the food stands that have the standard Coke Machines, your options are limited, especially in the non-soda route. For example, I cannot get a drink if I do not want water at Panda Express....why? There isn't even tea/lemonade/powerade. I either have to get my drink at the Freestyle Station in Oktoberfest or grab a high fructose corn syrup drink at Festhaus or Chicken Shack.
  10. I know, it was the same Friday....remember that thread about DB's new seats where folks claimed the seats would be too hot to ride with them being black and in the sun?
  11. What about those who want to drink non-soda items? I don't drink soda, but don't want tea or tap water every time. What options would be available with the traditional soda machines that would be friendly to those who don't drink soda? I'm satisfied with the food service that I've received at the park so far this year...so......
  12. But won't that make it uncomfortably hot for the riders? (sarcasm due to that thought about DB's new seats)
  13. In your original post you say that the photos come from Coaster Nation as the source....is that source you?
  14. I must just be lucky, I've not waited in line for a meal more than 10-15 minutes this year outside of peak meal times.
  15. No matter the model of our next steel coaster, I'd love to see the track color be something we do not have currently.
  16. Out of my 4 visits to the park this season, two drink stands have been closed each of my four visits. I totally agree, Micros needs to be replaced (sooner rather than later). I have not experienced food outages (although I know some who have), from what I've seen through my friends who have experienced it they have visited toward the end of the night, so I can understand in a way that there is a shortage of food (the crowds coming for food that night can be unpredictable and can/will create food waste which does add up night after night). The biggest thing I can suggest is that folks need to let guest services know their irritations with the lack of service (fulfillment) from the food and beverage department. Some will say it does no good, but they at least track the complaints enough to see that there is an actual issue.
  17. I have definitely seen that. Part of the reason why the lines for drink refills take forever....folks fill their cup with ice and then a drink to then decided the don't want it to then dump it out. Then they start the process all over again.
  18. To be fair, they do shut The Beast down for Fireworks at the end of the night....although I'm sure the raccoon didn't help things
  19. It still is too far out to know for sure what it's going to do. Out of the last 3 years, it has rained at least 2 of the years for Coaster Stock. The event is still amazing, the park does go all out for us and it's just down right fun.
  20. I find weather predictions to be so off, up until an hour before is forecasted. Saturday at my house, it was supposed to storm literally all afternoon, it sprinkled on me as I was driving into town for a few things. When I visited the park on 5/5, I will have to say, I had a blast and it rained off and on. It's all about your tolerable levels with weather. If you aren't comfortable with the forecast, then I'd hold off. If you are okay with the possibility of getting wet and/or rides going down for weather if it's severe enough, then go have fun. Only you know what you are comfortable with.
  21. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the rattle from what I understand is not from the steel, but from the wheels.
  22. I'll have to admit, when I saw this thread title, this is what I thought of: Source By Coaster Nation, do you mean that you took the photos?
  23. Had an amazing interaction with an associate on Friday (5/11) at the park. It was extremely warm, @pianoman, @Magenta Lizard and I were going to do water rides. I brought a bag of extra clothes for after water rides. Unfortunately, I needed a locker. I attempted to purchase an all day locker at the front of the park but each kiosk wouldn’t read my card (I don’t carry cash). After working with the associate near the lockers, the associate got his supervisor, Tanner. Tanner asked me what was going on, so I demonstrated and he attempted to get my card to work. Unfortunately, Tanner couldn’t get it to work. Tanner, however saw that I just wanted my locker and to move on. Tanner ended up getting me a locker for free. I totally didn’t expect that, but it was much appreciated. So great job Tanner and thank you! I did go to guest services and gave him major props.
  24. I don't even know....it was charging my phone, it some how fell off the front of the car and as I pulled my cord up, it came undone and the battery pack was lost.
