At Chick Fil-A I had the associate tell me that I had 2 drink vouchers on my pass...I only paid for one and have verified that. She told me to get that activated to take advantage of more drinks because I paid for it.....not thinking so. I had a similar comment at Carowinds and it was explained to me by Pat Jones, the park's GM and VP, that at franchise locations the systems are not necessarily linking up which may cause confusion/errors such as this or timing issues.

I agree with you...that's kind of sucky...I was positive we had a great picture for our group....the kiosk only showed like 20 pictures (none of which were mine). I thought I saw mine, yet it wasn't me or anyone in the group. The placement is rough in the afternoon/evening because the sun is directly behind it so it's hard to see the screen.

I was disappointed on opening day that Coney Potato Works didn't have the Gluten Free Chicken Tenders basket.....they just said we don't have any. So I went back later (for dinner) to see if they had any....nope. NoChickens wanted the Antipasta(spelling?) at Larossa's in Festhaus....at 1:30 they told him it hadn't been made yet. Other than that, Food Service was pretty good.

I believe the reason for the music being from the 80s is to show that the shed was a part of the facility where folks would listen to music. As nature takes back over it may turn the radio on and that's what plays. As you enter the shed there is a glitch in the audio...so I'd think that continues forward through the shed.

I've broke even with the cost....mainly due to my trip to Carowinds earlier and this weekend. At Panda Express we were given the large cups...we were told "because we haven't received the cups for the program yet at this location." At all the other locations we got the standard 16 ounce cups. This program is so worth it, a drink every 15 minutes...why not?!

I loved the new lights on the organ. @Magenta Lizard and I were going to ride the Carousel on Saturday but decided against it when the organ was not turned on.

I don't think it would...don't really see a reason why it would, aside from knowing what the "Miami Valley Lumber Co." represents and even then, it just fits in with the theming.

You can still upgrade to preferred parking but I'm unsure of the price.

They are not illuminated. They are just ornamented pieces.

Processing is pretty much open anytime the park is open.

A little interesting but not surprising.

Each manufacturer has it's own operating temperature. Often the rides have to start operation at that temperature....if it dips below and it's safe it will generally keep operating. But each park/manufacture is different on operations with temps/weather.

I can guarantee these weren't just reflections. They have their own light source. I took a video of it and you can see where the lights glow to touch the part of the handrails where there is no light "pollution" from the lift lights. The trains aren't reflective enough to carry that. Edit: I retract the statement.

It does look like there are working headlights.....but I'm not so sure at this point.

I cannot seem to find it, but there as a statement from the manufacturer of our Sky Coaster that this ride is not even from the company nor related to the Sky Coaster.

If she needs a new pass then she'd need to get it processed...there isn't a way around that. Not sure what you mean when you say her card is boilerplate.

Their season is also more mild and they have less coasters than us.

If there are those who know, they'd not be able to share. Those who don't know talk, those who do know..... don't.

Not a problem! Just know ahead of time, the cups are about 16 ounces, but well worth it because you can get a new one every 15 minutes!

Nope...it's good for all Cedar Fair parks.
