Just so you know, you don't have to be a member of ACE to attend, you can be a member of a few other clubs.

The difference is that with the meal plan, it can be "paid off" after so many uses, where the folks (including myself) get meals "for free" (the amount of times I've used it has reached and exceeded the cost I put into it). So if these folks that are sharing are at that point, it's 2 people getting food for "free" when it should only be one person. It's also about integrity.

I don't know the times....I just know the backgrounds are generally darker, some differences in what's seen before the "surprise" and that the security footage in the queue is usually in "night mode"
-
Generally they are different depends on when you ride. There are night and day versions of endings.

I've noticed on the Millennium Flyers that I've ridden do this. Some automatically come down and some have to be brought down...just depends on the train/the station/where the restraint was left when the previous person exited the train.

Per Don, Zamperla considers it a coaster, so the park considers it a coaster as well.
-
I believe the park officially considers Racer as 1 credit. From what I've gathered they consider a ride a credit or not by what the manufacture considers it. From a conversation with Don, John Allen considered Racer as 1 credit. So the park does. Surf Dog is considered a credit as Zamperla considers it a credit.

It'd be best to call the park number and ask to speak with group sales or someone with special events. @DonKIPR may be able to specifically tell you who to contact.

They do have adjustable seats...however, they aren't perfect. Riding Vortex opening weekend was rough for me as @IndyGuy4KI @electricsun @pianoman and @malem can attest. No matter the height of the seat, it put me at a really awkward angle where my legs could not even straighten up. Coming off the ride, I literally felt pain throughout my legs for the next 1/2 hour to an hour. Not fun.

Another thing I'll say is that the park really didn't hype the shed over the ride itself. From the beginning, the park spoke about the airtime moments, the speed, the interactions with other rides, the footage of the coaster, the height, etc. before even speaking about the shed. Many are forgetting during the announcement the Park showed a video of the ride that ended with #WhatsInTheShed. When the video was over, the pretty much stated, you'll have to wait until the ride is open to find out what's in the shed. In the video they showed twice, it shared the different stats about the ride.....in a press release the shed isn't even talked about once.... (https://mystictimbers.visitkingsisland.com/explore-the-woods/press-release) The simple use of #WhatsInTheShed is simply the tagline/slogan for the ride....yes, it was used in Social Media and news reports....however, any of the information placed around it was mainly focused on the ride itself. #WhatsInTheShed is simply like Red Robin.....Yummm. It doesn't give you any information about the ride or restaurant. Anyone who looked at #WhatsInTheShed as a way of over hyping the experience simply over hyped it themselves. I've re-read through some of this chat and some wanted the park to focus on the ride over the shed....which....you know is what they did. The press release is from the very beginning and does not mention the shed. Anytime the ride was on the news, it was not teased by Don or another representative of the park, the representative from a news station asked, "whats in the shed" and the respective party answered almost every time you'll have to wait until the ride opens to experience. I still stand by my point that the campaign is not for the enthusiasts nor the regular attendees of KI, but for those who may come once a year. Maybe it's time we at KIC take a step back and look to see where we hyped it ourselves by the threads/comments guessing what could be in the shed, hoping it'd be something we had a dream about, hoping it'd be something that has never been done before, etc. I wonder how many folks here actually realize how many hours went into the shed in and of itself. How many hours went into, hanging materials on the walls, installing features, installing ___ (for those of you who haven't written I won't disclose that but if you have written you should know what I'm talking about), installing controls, programming the ride as well as the shed area, the music, the lighting, etc? I wonder how many (I know roughly) KIC members went into helped in some aspect with the shed, how many companies that helped with the shed (and these companies have enthusiast on their staff) spent time doing one of the things at the beginning of this paragraph, etc.? It's one thing to not like the final product, but to say the park over hyped it and essentially saying it's nothing worth writing home about is false and to be completely honest, disrespectful to the park, the staff, the companies who worked on this project because the shed isn't what we think it should be. Be thankful that we actually have a new wooden coaster that fits well in our collection, that many can ride and that doesn't leave you baking out in the sun on the brake run.

The Most Ridiculous Thing a Ride Operator has told you.

Everyone has a different definition of professional. If we're saying the park needs to be more professional, they should not allow associates to wear shorts, polos, tennis shoes, etc. They should look their part right? -
The difference there was the park never showed what was in the shed in the promos. Whereas, they created a campaign to get people talking about Mystic Timbers through #WhatsInTheShed. Storm Chaser's promo was literally just a NoLimits rendering of the ride with no teasing of hey something cool is going to happen here. I don't think it's a fair comparison.

The thing I struggle for the overhyped train thing is that it's not for those who go to Kings Island a lot...it's not for the season pass holders or even the regular GP visitors....it's for those who get to the park once. It's a tag line to get folks into the park that wouldn't go to the park prior to seeing/hearing the campaign.

Kings Island Finally Finds Solution to Royal Fountain Geese Problem

I hate them! Got bit on the butt by one in High School for walking too close to a nest that I didn't see....the goose chased me and well...it bit me. -
I know it's by number of posts....what those number ranges are, I'm not 100% sure. There are various different ranks too.

April 15-16, 2017: One Weekend, Two Perspectives

Great entry! Thanks for sharing! Be careful to not share too much but definitely share what's appropriate -
It is very very likely for Winterfest.

They will not be released until the end of the season, if they end up being released. Some rides when they hit milestones, the park will tweet about them.

How can you put your strongest in place if your entire crew aside from supervisors are brand new...first job? How can you even determine that if they've never even worked with customers? You can't. I've opened 3 restaurants with just legal to work teenagers and there are always bumps in the road. The openings and first few weeks are never perfect. The same can be said for Kings Island. Some here expect perfection 100% and I hate to tell you, nothing is 100% perfect. There are bound to be hiccups/bumps in the road. The best way to bring up concerns is to the park in person. I personally only had one concern about food service this weekend and I went to guest relations for it. However, I had some of the best experiences with food service on opening weekend this past weekend. It's all subjective to personal opinion.

Because a place where many go to have fun want it to be so stiff and professional it's no longer fun. While you might not find it fun, others do. If you can't stand that then maybe it's not the place for you to go. -
Returning associates generally will request where they'd like to work for the next season, but it's not always guaranteed.

Generally Food is where some of the younger folks tend to be employed. It's not that they aren't doing anything to retain their staff but that they may also move to a different division. I'd also say they get the most crap for sometimes what is out of their control. They don't get the full training before the park opens...how could they? They can get little scenarios of what may happen when a guest comes up asking for ____ or when a customer decides they want something else, etc. Nothing can prepare them enough until they have the guests literally in front of them. Even then, it's a learning experience. Most of these associates don't know how to react when something happens because they've not dealt with it before. I'd also venture to say that those who visit often are the ones who make their jobs a living nightmare. I have heard out of several associates mouths that I know on a personal level that they hate when enthusiasts, KICers, etc. come up to them for food and/or rides because as associates these folks treat them like crap. It's one thing to be upset about food service sucking but until 1) we are in their shoes 2) we go to someone who can actually make it right it won't change. It's another thing to be downright rude/disgusting to the associates.

The one pictured I believe is near Woodstock Express....the other one is in Action Zone from what I recall.
