I was just talking about this. I have a feeling that any time from now until Monday we'll see a tweet or something saying: "Join us in the Festhaus on Wednesday at XX:XX for our 2018 announcement" or there will be signage in the park on Wednesday at opening letting folks know there will be an announcement.

I must have missed it, where exactly did it say a conveyor belt station? I've heard others talking about a rotating station as well.....either way...I haven't seen concrete proof of either.

He literally messes with people for a living. He does work for corporate, but I'm sure he's not in on decision making meetings for new attractions. He more than likely hears things as it's necessary for him, not once a 5 year plan is decided.

Right now, they're auditioning for Winterfest....so that could be a reason....they've also done the Kings Island 5 thing in the past.

Welcome to KIC! There are non soda options at 95% if not more of the beverage locations and dining locations. Water is available at most locations as well. Water is free, though smaller cups if you don't have a souvenir cup or the drink plan. You can get one souvenir cup and share. I always promote the dining plans based on cost....the all day dining pass which is roughly $30 will work and be cheaper for you as some meals are $15+....I believe the all day dining plan also allows you to eat ever 90 minutes or so, so if you get hungry definitely take part of it. You've already paid for it at that point I'm a big supporter of printing all of the documents you receive after purchasing items online...that way there is no confusion if something doesn't work right. You will need something to show that you've purchased parking or you'll pay at the tolls and have to get a refund. If you get the Fast Lane, once you enter the turnstiles, you'll turn left and go to the station for Fast Lane...there you'll redeem your ticket for them (another good reason to have everything printed). While watching the fireworks last night....I had to laugh and almost cry at the same time..... @Magenta Lizard sent me a text from a few feet away saying that a song sounded stabby....it turned out to be Rocket Man....covered by Puddle of Mud. It was definitely odd.

I believe it was said at Coasterstock that most of the park will be open.

After witnessing "seasoned" vr at Cedar Point yesterday....I will say I am strongly against it for sure. Iron Dragon on a typical evening would have a 10-15 minute wait....last night....first midnight close with a very small amount of folks in the park, held a 20-30ish (if not longer) wait. They were running one train and each train dispatched in just under 10 minutes each time. The crew was hustling but the process and the whole thing wasn't efficient. Not worth it.

Canada's Wonderland is a park where I always suggest purchasing a Fast Lane Plus.....no matter the day you go, it's busy.....the park is at the end of a bus line, so a lot of folks just get on the bus and head to the park. I've witnessed this park at various points during the year. I would say the $499 season is not out of the realm of the park. I honestly thought it'd be much more.
