Possible Ride Station Location?
Creed Bratton replied to DBInternational's topic in Coming Attractions
We could use a Jump 2! -
Knowing several scare actors....past and present.....it's not cool nor funny to try to make them break character. That's not the point of them ebing there.

We've already got a thread about Haunt for 2017 on the boards...check it out:

I'd love to see Cirque Dimensions that was at Canada's Wonderland! I've seen different versions of Imagine and Origins (whether in person or on video) and I'm blown away at the differences. I would have loved some of the differences in our shows.

Pop music back on International Street
Creed Bratton replied to BlondyRidesOn's topic in Kings Island
It won't be back this year or next year....maybe next year if enough folks actually visit guest relations and write in (contact us form on the website or letter) stating their desire to have the music back. Til then....you can enjoy the sounds of Justin Bieber and many other pop music stars. -
The Most Ridiculous Thing a Ride Operator has told you.
Creed Bratton replied to Original's topic in Rumors
On Sunday a ride operator at Adventure Express saw @pianoman's shirt and made conversation with our group. Before we boarded, the gal confidentially told us, she couldn't wait for the new Giga to come in next. -
Pop music back on International Street
Creed Bratton replied to BlondyRidesOn's topic in Kings Island
@Mrs. No Chickens was told on Saturday evening by an associate in guest services that the music was turned off for Haunt and that it'd be back for next season.....not too long after I voiced my concern at Guest Services (with no such information). Totally blowing smoke up Mrs. No Chicken's back....yes please voice your concern in writing whether it be the contact us form on the website or an actual letter. -

I tired Smokehouse for the first time this weekend (twice) and I found myself debating both times what to try because I was excited to try the different options (even though I don't eat some, what was offered was plentiful). I found myself fighting the urge to try so much at once, lol. I did lose the battle when it came to getting the corn pudding. So good!

But what if you eat for free, like I do? Is it worth me going out of the park to eat? Not necessarily. Thank god for "free" meals after using my meal plan enough it's paid itself of a couple of times. I will say....it must be the burrito places with Cedar Fair....at least in Ohio. When I visited Cedar Point during Steel Vengeance Announcement Day, I ate at their burrito place and I was severely disappointed, I didn't even finish my food. They apparently changed their recipe because the chicken literally tasted like taco meat to me. Was not very happy about that...but it's not like I paid anything extra for it.

Ideas For Better Thrills!?
Creed Bratton replied to Hmrapp's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
That's a great idea and concept for a story for a new coaster coming into X-Base. -
Not a complaint, but a question. We've got the ability to change our background picture on the Dark Theme.....is it possible to change our opacity of the objects on the page (header/forums/who's on/etc.)? We've got 4 great options for the pictures, but you really can't see what they are aside from a small sliver on the sides.

Ideas For Better Thrills!?
Creed Bratton replied to Hmrapp's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
That may be true, but an elevator lift/drop isn't the only way to accomplish that . I'd also imagine an elevator lift would be slower disengaging from the station, going up to engage with the track at the top (which also isn't an exact thing once it gets there). You'd also have the time of disengaging from the top for the elevator to move back down to then engage with the station track. I just remember riding Pilgrim's Plunge at Holiday World and feeling like it took forever to get to the top and then waiting for the track to engage so we could move forward. I then look toward The Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain at Indiana Beach with it's elevator lift and remember stories I've heard of the lift not working so the ride couldn't open (no matter the reasoning for it not working). Doing a traditional chain lift and adding a mid-course of sorts before a drop would easily allow for multiple trains on the course. Although, stellar operations have to be there for that to happen too. If you haven't been on the lift of the other Free Fly Coasters, there is definitely a little surprise for those first time riders. -
Ideas For Better Thrills!?

That's definitely an interesting concept. I don't know if I like the elevator lift and drop, as the traditional lift hills for the free fly coasters add a bit of excitement/view for the riders. -
@Hmrapp I'm not discounting that it's eventual....I'm just saying I don't see it in the exact near future as some in this thread do. It doesn't have to be justified to me as to why it'd be a good addition, I want one....but as I keep saying, I don't see it happening when others are saying it will. Employees that work at Kings Island aren't exactly the best source on coming attractions as they are not told the future plans.....even if they are if they discuss it they can and will be terminated. I used to work for the park and I can guarantee that those who think they know what is coming isn't always factual. The fact is, one poster here said it something like this, those who don't know say something, those who do don't.

I don't try to figure out names of something that has no signs of being built. I wouldn't say I'm in the camp of Kings Island is getting a Giga as the next major investment camp. I think it's coming eventually but I think there are other things that we'll see first.
-
I'd venture to say if that spot were to be used, Haunt Load in hasn't started for that location. They'd still need to use it for merch.

There is a difference between someone official and a random kid on Youtube saying something stating "facts."

Nope....if I said I did, that was before I rode one. If I said that I hated them, it was also probably that Six did the cloning of them. 4D Free Fly Coasters are a ton of fun, I giggled like crazy on Joker at Great Adventure. I honestly wish Cedar Fair would add one but make it bigger, have higher capacity and maybe a little bit different of a layout. -

And don't forget about those wonderfully named/themed rides such as Crazanity, Pandemonium and The Tallest Super Loop.
