Thats a great diagram. That looks spot on. But dont you think it would make more sense to flip where the station and the train house thing would be. Just so its easier to get in line and stuff. And somebidy mentioned how this could be a Dinosaurs Alive type thing . They didnt start teasing us with that until like two months before the season started.This is really early to start a project. I'm not saying it's a coaster. (even though I think it is), it's just something really big.

I am very biased on this because I am rooting for a large Intamin coaster or a Leviathan type B&M coaster. If they were to remake a SoB type ride, why would they need to tear down TA and have footers over by TA. Wouldn't they just use the same station and area for the "upgraded SoB"? As said before, they're so many idiots out there that would say that the new ride killed people it would instantly have a bad rep. If i were in charge of this whole project, I would want to replace SoB with another large coaster. In 2009, Son of Beast and Diamondback were the two largest coasters in the park. It would make sence to replace it with a larger coaster.

I forgot those queue lines were even there. I don't think I've seen those open since 2009. You instantly know its a crowded day when you see those switchbacks open.

Everyone's talking like these footers are for supports for the track. Due to the placement and how close they are to the walkway, I really think these are for a station.

Kings Island put the following on Twitter this morning: "Participants in this morning's Color Me Pink 5k will enjoy the behind the scenes views along the course." Could this be talking about the area behind the fence? Did anyone run it that could clarify this statement?

It will go away when they stop making money off of it. And honestly, if I was there on a crowded day, I would buy the plus because I don't spend a lot of money at the park anyway. I pay $90 a year for my pass and u normally only eat one meal while I'm there. I would much rather pay for a plus pass then wait in line all day and not have a good time. It just varies on how some people like to spend their money.

Except that the Terms of Service require posters to use proper spelling and grammar. It's the very first item on the page. If you still have a problem with people correcting others' spelling, take it up with the admins. We're just enforcing the TOS as they stand. But really?? Come on? Its not like he is writing his essay for the SAT or anything. He is on an online forum. Its not that bad. I find it just as annoying when Im trying to see what people are talking about for future plans for the park and its hidden by people correcting the way someone writes. Let it go. Not trying to be rude to you, just stating my opinion.

Now come in guys. Lets not be pointing fingers and arguing at everyone. Everyone helps and contributes to this site in their own way. If you do not like the way someone contributes than you could point it out politely. And it's definitively not worth leaving the site if you are just not a fan of one person.

110% Son of Beast. The last time I rode it was opening day 2009. I would love to have one last ride on it to say goodbye.

Good idea. I use a drop of motor oil on pocketknife blades to keep them looking nice; I don't know why I didn't think of that for this application as well! They decided not to make the wood available for purchase. I know this because I bought the wood and track and we got the call to verify my track and they said the wood was not available for purchase and they would not be sent out. That includes even if you called the first day because I ordered mine on the first day as well... I wonder why they did this?

Don, why does the park want to keep the station for Son of Beast? Dont get me wrong, I have great respect for you and the park but I really think that this is a poor choice and may make that part look "less tidy" and not as attractive. I understand the situation with Wolf Pack but couldnt you move it? This happened with the Crypt also and I feel as if the park is just wasting space. Please do not take this as an insult more of just a respectful question.

The station will not be dismantled along with the ride. I was told this by Don in front of Tower Drinks yesterday. I stand corrected. Thank you for clarifying this. Why would they leave the station for yet another Haunt Attraction? The Crypt is gone but they still left the building, and now SoB will be gone but the station will just stay there. This is just me I think this makes our park look less attractive and more crowded. I hope they reconsider this.

Did anyone else notice that Flight Decks sign was gone on Sunday? This may be something but it ma not be. I just saw it and thought, well. hmmmm, thats interesting. I dont know if this is normal of not (probabaly not) but...
