  1. Decided to stop by the park for a show and a beast ride (wife is at home with a sleeping baby shark). Parking lot is pretty full, this may be a long short day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. man this seems like a great idea, similar to the Superman/Luther ride at Magic Mountain. But if they both cant operate at the same time... Have I missed this in previous discussions, why is Jersey so hard to operate an amusement park in? Why would anyone want to open one in that state? Similar reasons a ride may have left a CaliFUNia park to relocate to another place, perhaps?
  3. Yea one day you may be sitting in a boat going up a lift hill and then the next moment you are wearing a boat hat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I would suggest setting a timer if you do or you may end up like Ross trying to count his 3 seconds.....

  6. Honestly, if it's your first time go to Jamestown. Skip colonial Williamsburg (tourist trap). You will always have an opportunity to ride rides but how often will you get the chance to see one of the first settlements? Or the place where Pocahontas was maried? The Yorktown site is pretty cool as well. The siege of Yorktown was the last (?) battle of the Revolution. If you make a trip down to Virginia Beach, visit Fort Monroe. Over 100 years old and you can see the prison cell of Jefferson Davis. If you can get on a tour boat that will take you near the naval base for colors, where all the ships will lower their flags at the same time ( I had a retiree escort so I got to stand on a dock on base). But I have never been to Baltimore or DC but I'm guessing they have as much if not more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yea my wife and I may be guilty of that sometimes. When we wait in a line a long time and it moves two feet or 4 feet we may not move right away. More so if it's a hot day and we got a nice spot under a fan. I have realized that I have, surprisingly, a high tolerance for stuff happening at the park. I hate when people don't use manners: holding doors, please, thank yous, walking on the right side, being nice, exchanging high fives or head nods, being polite, responding when people say hello. I am also not a fan of some of the aggressive people taking pics at the front of the park. If I show you my yellow stub, I probably don't want another picture taken.
  8. $44 I meant. I can't edit in Taptalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ah for some reason I thought regular price was $46 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. LaRosa's has a coupon on their boxes for $19 or $16 off admission. Makes it almost $25 I think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Didnt realize its free military day. I was going to maybe swing by the park later this afternoon for a few rides on the adult side.
  12. Have you ever been to Mid-Ohio to run your car up there? I was thinking it would be an interesting experience...
  13. No.It's Band-Aid brand adhesive bandages. Hard Rock is a registered trademark. As such, it is always capitalized here. I posted that and then after my shower, thought hmm I should look. Oh well, I am probably losing my hearing..
  14. Doesn't Band-Aid run a commercial that says Band-Aid brand band aids....
  15. Which is why it's confusing KK put a drop ride in after theirs did such a thing

  18. This whole thing makes me think I this scene Too busy to find out if you could but you never asked if you should Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yea I'll give you that 2-5 range would be inappropriate for the corral in most cases. Parent swap however is still awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. As a parent, I feel it is important to tea h my son many many things. Part of this teaching will be about waiting and being part of a group. If that means they must wait in a line and not get the enjoyment out of the ride, then that happens. Plus it's not like we are talking about a 3 year old in the corral. Many times they are 6/7/8/9 years of age. Old enough to scream for help if someone is stealing them. But when you get have kids, you will know your kid and what they can handle. The parent swap at Disney seems to be one of the greatest inventions ever made.
  21. *pushes glasses up on nose and cracks open the official Marvel handbook* SHIELD is a government (sometimes world) agency with Nick Fury as director. The Avengers are a group of supers who get together to fight bad guys. Shield does work with them in the way they ask for help or tell them where to go. But many times in the comics, Avengers and Shield don't always see eye to eye.
  22. I wonder if this has anything to do with a certain Comic Convention later this year.... Plus maybe Marvel is making an attempt to get more buyers of ther comic books.... And nerd moment : the Helicarier is used by Shield, the Avengers use a Quinjet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I meant the trains full of guests, ha.... Oh semantics... What's the official name for the wheel that keeps the trains from leaving the track? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Don't roller coasters have wheels under the track to keep guests from flying off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
