Nice pics, but what's up with the frog?
-
I think two things they desperately need are: --A highly conservative B&M Inverted along the lines of Avalache (I don't want a flyer at all. I rode Stealth and it sucked. Waited two hours for it too...), possibly based on the upcoming move Timeline, based on the best MC book ever. --An extremely well themed resturant that is not of the Nick or HB type. The last thing PKI needs is a bigger childrens area. I think the TR Resturant was a good idea.

They really need a "sit down" resturant. It always makes it a little bit nicer. Plus, it makes your day a little more relaxing. I bet they think no one has time.

Flat Ride: TR:TR Coaster: SoB
-
Neither is SoB original. It is a sequel, another thing Paramount is famous for.
-
lol, don't go into shock from the strobes.
-
Every corprately owned park is a "movie" park. They theme things on movies. Delirium is probablly the only ride not named after a franchise since they bought it in '93. Sooner or later it will mimick U and D. On a more related note, I will be sure to test the gold plated beverage (at least the price claims that) on Saturday.

4 hours for FoF. It might have been shorter, cus I had blocks in my shoes so I would be tall enough to ride (they killed my feet)
-
The Beast . Man that thing killed me last weekend, tamed or not.
-
What would you recomend? (I'm a sucker for pie)
-
So I take it these "guests" either enjoy getting rammed into the seat when least expected or are made out of porcelain and break very easily. Bugs me when people take a group of three or for people and call them the "public", that's all.
-
LOL, nice attempt, but I doubt anyone will ever give up. Honestly though, does it friggin matter? The ride is closed temporarily, period. Why do people have to know about the tecnicalities?
-
Ha ha ha. Inraider, I don't think they like you very much. I still read the topic. I think it is suspicious that you didn't get the name, but who cares. lol

whats your favorite area at kings island
CantStopCabron replied to beastbreakdown's topic in Kings Island
I would go with Rivertown, mainly because everything isn't so "up-front" as the rest of the park. Everything is hidden. You can't see a single ride from where the entrance is located, and I like that. Also, RyanA (and anyone else who mentions this), it is very difficult to build rides and put a large tree population close by the track or bodie of the ride. Trees that would acually look good for themeing (i.e. pine trees, oaks) take years to grow. You just can't do it. Think of SoB. (sorry for the outburst) -
I admire the job PKI did with Scooby. It wins my vote in the ride arena for being fun as heck. As for PT, I wouldn't call it a ride. It was a staple for the park; a standby for anyone who wanted to relax in the dark. But it didn't thrill or entertain, and was only mildly amusing for it's cheeseyness. Therefore, Scooby is definately a better addition to the park.

So for a simple answer... DON'T GO! lol. Not only is it a bring a friend free day, but all the schools are out.
-
Once again, one of my idiot friends has asked me a question I couldn't answer. I was talking about Flight Commander with him and he asked how many people have been killed in the history of Kings Island. I couldn't really give an answer, but my guess was five. We have the Flight Commander woman, the two guys at Viking Fury, the guy that fell out of The Vortex, and I think the dude mauled by the lion. Is that all? Are any of those rumors? Help me out if you can.

Most every school is out for Good Friday peoples, unless they have massive snow days to make up. LOL, Sycamore calls it "Spring Vacation Day". I always find that somewhat funny.
-
Didn't some drunk person fall out? I think that is what I heard about it. The bungee cord thing is right on top of where it used to be though, that part is correct. It's even the same pavement.
-
Sounds like a fun day ya had. It really did cool down fast though, and I was still wet from the Canyon . Also, I rode Scooby last ride of my day around closing time and got car #10. I didn't notice a bump, so you are probablly safe from prosecution for the time being .
-
Man, you guys should join the Army and become snipers or something. I go a lousy 1320 on my third try.
-
You people complain way too much. Can you at least TRY to enjoy yourselves? It's not that hard. I was there from five to ten and rode two rides, Delirium and TR:TR, and both broke down either in line or in one of the chambers. Have I complained? No. I had one of the better nights on Friday. I just hung around and enjoyed watching people with friends. Seriously, you people are going to have heart attacks if you don't slow down. (also, no matter what anyone says, the wait for Delirium was never 2 hours. Even outside the entrance. That thing sits fifty a turn, so the line moves like a bullet.)
-
Tomb Raider again? Really? Man, well this stinks. They seem to be having some pretty big problems with it. One of the better rides, too...
-
The Tornado? Ok... that, to me, would just look plain corny. That was used mainly for marketing and I am glad. They were going for an ultra-modern look for an ultra-modern ride, and they accomplished it.

Which Beast is better, Son of Beast or Beast and W
CantStopCabron replied to PKICoasterFreek's topic in KI Polls
The Beast used to be my favorite roller coaster (wodden or not) in the world, but sadly they added those forsaked brakes on top of one hill where you are supposed to get massive airtime, and in that tunnel/straightaway thingy. Therefor the SoB quickly replaced The Beast, especialy when you get over a wheel during the closing hours.
