^ Sounds like your computer crashed in the time between your PayPal payment and the completion of the order. You might want to call; the support phone number for the online ticket store is shown in the store's help/FAQ section.
-
^ If your order was completed, you can look it up online to reprint your ticket(s). https://cf-ki.secure.accesso.com/orderLookup
-
^ According to the event page, everyone who attends must be registered, and each registrant must be an active member of their selected club/organization. Now would be a good time to make sure that anyone you want to bring is a member of one of the approved clubs. Most offer family memberships for people residing at the same address.

The Flash plugin is slowly being phased out by Adobe, but many older sites are still written in ways that require it. The special ticket store used for events and corporate discounts has yet to be updated. Your ticket needs to be printed to paper, so you're going to end up using a desktop at some point anyway.

^ CoasterMania has been free with park admission. Details about this year's event have yet to be announced, but registration will be required. Never mind. These tickets are apparently being sold through KI's corporate ticket store, which still requires Flash on a Desktop computer. The main ticket store on visitkingsisland.com was migrated to HTML late last year. If you register on mobile, you should be able to save the ticket link and visit it later on your desktop to purchase & print your ticket. Of course, don't share the ticket link here or on other public sites, as tickets are useless unless you register first.

^ Flash is no longer required for the desktop ticket store. So, as a temporarily solution, you could set your mobile browser to request the desktop version of the site. You could then go to the purchase link from the confirmation page to purchase your ticket(s) as if you were on a desktop. Instructions: iOS: http://www.tekrevue.com/tip/request-desktop-site-ios-8/ Chrome for Android: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-request-desktop-version-of-a-web-site-in-chrome-for-android/ Firefox for Android: works the same way as Chrome in this regard EDIT: This seems to be using the corporate ticket store instead of the standard desktop ticket store, so Flash is still required.

Note that - according to the event page - multiple tickets can be purchased in one transaction. However, each individual must register for the event. To save money, purchase tickets for your entire party at once. Some of us at the meetup on January 31 could get together and buy our tickets in one transaction, splitting the applicable processing fee.

The park should be managing its Google+ profile to prevent Google users from entering such inaccurate data.

^ Was that around the time that Graeter's opened on International Street? (I would assume they are to be the park's exclusive vendor of "premium" ice cream.)
-
^ The e-mail didn't get to me, in that case. Until there is an actual release from the park, I wouldn't count on that being final. It was my understanding that discontinuing non-platinum Coaster Crew memberships was intended to keep them competitive with respect to event access. As far as I know, CP has yet to publicly announce their partner roller coaster clubs for 2015.

^ Cedar Point has yet to release details and registration information for CoasterMania. The information in that post doesn't seem to be from the park, so it may or may not be accurate.

Unfortunately, it seems that I will be busy on Opening Day. Depending on the details for the preview night, I might make a trip down for that.
-
^ You can do that online here: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/payments If you want to call the online ticket store, 407-261-4291 If you want to call Kings Island, 513-754-5700

Hm... from a cursory glance, it seems to be an ajax/websockets problem. A connection is being closed early, and the site isn't robust enough to try something more reliable. If you have access to a Windows, Mac OS X, Android or Linux device - try using another browser. If all you have is iOS, you may be out of luck, as the WebKit library included in your iOS version might not be compatible with Accesso's site. Using the latest iOS version would probably help, but that's not possible for all iDevice users. If you wait until tomorrow, the prices (for platinum, at least) will have already gone up. KI customer support provided by Accesso in Florida won't be able to get you the old prices.

^ I had a few threads, including this one, open in tabs on my desktop. Here's another: http://belle.zzxc.net/fun/tmp/springfield.jpg (See, Goble, there sometimes are advantages to keeping browser tabs open.)

This is the last weekend of the holiday season pass sale. The "Buy Now Pay Later" option goes away Sunday night, and prices may go up. Platinum prices will almost certainly increase to match those at Knott's Berry Farm, where the sale already ended.
-
Works for me. On both mobile and desktop, I got to the point to submit a credit/debit card to complete the transaction. Try this direct link: https://cf-ki.secure.accesso.com/packageList/navItem/2015%20Platinum Note that platinum pass and dining plan prices are scheduled to go up when the holiday sale ends tomorrow night.

Winterfest Wishes and Ideas- A Way to Bring It Back
malem replied to Skyrider's topic in Kings Island
Son of Beast and Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal are capitalized. Names of former Kings Island attractions generally are, as proper nouns, even if they aren't current trademarks. -
The database containing KICentral forum posts seems to have been restored to a backed up version, resulting in about two days of content disappearing. If you posted something that's no longer here, you may want to post it again.

Topic lost in the database reset.

It looks like a database backup was restored. I'm posting this topic again since it was apparently lost.

Litigation and a new B&M coaster don't come cheap.
