I honestly did not like the "Fast Pass" when I visited Disneyland a few years ago. It made the regular que line move very slow because they alternate on letting about 20 fast pass guests to go to near the loading station and 20 regular guests go after them a few minutes later. Before I went to DL I read an unoffical guide to it. It said that the ride capacity was some where around 200 guests every 2 1/2 minutes supposing that the line moves very fast. It didn't seem to move this fast at first. But, once you get past the fast pass guest/ regular guest seperating location, It moved extremely fast. I was amazed! Every few moments a huge chunk of people would move down the line. This is why I didn't like the fast pass. Yeah it's nice when you actually get one and you'll get on the ride quickly; but when you don't have one you better go to the bathroom before you get in line . Sorry if my explanation of the fast pass system might've been a little confusing but I do know exactly how it runs for I have only been to DL once. I just hope you guys somewhat understand what I'm saying.

It's great to hear about the ride enhancements. I'll have 2 things to look forward to when I visit for the first time this season.(WindSeeker & The Crypt) But I'm not including the Dino walkthrough/3D attraction as a thing to look forward to due to the upcharge fee.

I just really hope, and I mean REALLY hope this is true. The ride just dissapoints me without any excitement to the ride. If they do enhance the ride, that will be the first thing I do on Opening Day!

Does anybody have an idea of how SOB's future will be announced? Will they say on their website? Will they have a speech!? etc.

Less of Paramount and more of just people in general that actually know how to scare and what actually scares people. A few years ago there were tons of actors that knew the ins and outs and knew what got under peoples' skins to get them scared like no other. This Haunt season, however, is an absolute joke with the lack of monsters in the attractions and the lack of enthusiasm from the majority of said monsters to warrant going through the mazes. Save for a small batch of monsters/mazes, I was severely let down with this year's event, and even more upset at the fact that the majority of time and energy went towards getting the Half-Pint Brawlers to come to KI (the commercials have been redone, removing the simple mention of Wolf Pack's name and focusing solely on HPB). Maybe we ought to actually go back further than Paramount, and give the event back to WEBN, like the first three years of FearFest. ...oh wait, I forgot, we can't mention FearFest here; everything up until 2007 didn't exist according to the park. I have to say Fear Fest or Halloween Haunt as they call it really has gone down hill this year. I swear I only saw 3 or 4 monsters in the Cemetary Drive and Probably only 6 or 7 in Death Row. Also, it seems like there are only 20 monsters walking around the park. I rarely see one anymore. What happened??? When I went on Tombstone Terror-Tory in '08. I jumped SO many times. it was really good. But now it's just 'eh. When I went to FearFest in '06 it was PERFECT scary. The Cornstalker maze was really good. And there was monsters everywhere you go!!! And I like how they put the KC trains and the old SOB trains outside the entrance with skelotons in them. I asked again, what happened to the top notch halloween event we used to have?

I once had a dream that my friends and I rode Son of Beast 4 times in a row. And each time got better and better. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun!!! It didn't hurt. It just went insane! If only, SOB was like in my dreams it would be in the top ten woodies for sure. If only,

Believe me, your not. I saw It last night and it was really STUPID. What was even more stupid was that they were selling "ring-side seats for $10. I mean, who would pay that much to see something like that up close. Also, you could've gotten there earlier and get a good seat and pay nothing. Yikes, CF this is horrible.

I have two Paramount Parks Spongebob Squarepants souveneir cups from 03' and 06'. I also have a Spongebob shirt that I got when they were handing them out when I was 6 years old also from 03'. I have a 2010 park map that I plan to keep forever. I have a Fear the Four cup from last year, a DB cup from this year, and a Firehawk cup from 2007. I have a souveneir mug from last year with my name on it. Also my mom has a deck of round playing cards that had Screamin' Demon on them along with the old Kings Island logo. I'm guessing they were from around 30 years ago. So I'm guessing I'm doing alright as for souvenir collectin'. EDIT: my small (but growing) KI collection.

I miss it a lot.

my first coaster was probably The Beastie when I was probably 4. My first BIG coaster was The Beast when i was 6. Oh what a ride...

One reason I would hate to see SOB go is that the view of Action Zone just isn't complete without. Especially at night...

By "transformation" of the SRF/JMS area could this mean it's possible that they might add a new slide there?

I think i change my mind on WindSeeker, before I thought that it looked really boring when I first saw it. I was mostly dissapointed because it wasn't a screamin' swing instead. But as I process the whole idea a little more it sounds like a blast. This happens every time KI gets a new ride. I have mixed thoughts about it. Plus, It's bringing a whole new flat ride concept to KI. (well, kind of). And maybe CF will install a Screamin' Swing some other year. Also, If they fix up The Crypt and install a screamin' swing. Kings Island would have not 1,not 2, not 3, not 4, but FIVE kick-but flats!
