I now have less than 2 weeks left in this state. Looks like I will not be visiting the park this year for sure. Hopefully it gets a third season.

I had a 69 Camaro many years ago that was made at the Norwood plant. That said, nothing is forever, everyone knows that. Thanks for once again pointing out the painfully obvious. As for the present, things are going great and a possible new plant may be headed to my (til March anyways) state that will mean plenty of jobs for folks. Whether it lasts 2 years or 50, no one knows. Never intended this to become a discussion on how long a manufacturing plant MAY stay open.

The Corvette have been made in BG for over 3 decades now. I'm not aware of folks desiring to revert back to Horse and Buggy so I doubt that cars are going away any time soon. My Mother and Brother build truck frames for Ford. The plant can barely make enough of them to keep up with demand.

Word on the street is, KY is now in the running for the location of Volvo's first Automobile Plant in the USA. One of two possible locations in the state is next door to where I work. Kentucky LOVES the automobile industry. We have plants for FORD, GM and TOYOTA already, plus about 450 other manufacturing facilities related to the industry. One of the biggest political issues in the state? JOBS. This is a chance to bring lots of them in. I foresee some major belt tightening to land this big opportunity. We got beat out by Alabama for a Hyundai years ago and folks are still upset about it.

Well, first I typed don't go there but felt I should add the alone. Don't take it literally. Still no real answers so I will do some research.

So, what exactly is so bad about SFA? Funny how most of the "don't go there alone" reports that I see involve Six Flags parks.

Better tell all the places that make great sauces without sweetening the crap out of them that they are doing it wrong. Wonder if Italy is aware of this information?

My problem with Food is that there isn't very much that I DON'T like. Most all Seafood being my only real dislike. I love Fish of all kinds though. Sweet Pizza Sauce and Chili should be a sin.

The Pizza at KI drove over a cliff a couple of years ago. Nasty stuff.

I remember using "Pay" toilets as a kid. The local Roses charged 10 cents in the early 80s. You could get under them though.

It is nice to see them replacing some of the existing rides with newer ones. I just did not feel safe in that park.

Typing on my phone is highly annoying, so I cut that response short. Downhill to me is mostly because my last few visits have been terrible. Poor quality lunch meat, crappy bread. They cannot properly prepare an egg based sandwich to save their lives. Sucks because I used to be a Subway addict. I bet I have eaten more subs from there than Jared. The one near the base in Va Beach was next door to a bar. The place stayed open until 3AM. Needless to say, I was on a first name basis with the Manager and my Sandwich was made by the time I walked into the door. I was very happy when they started to cut their Bread open like normal Human Beings. On a side note, glad that a tiny six inch sandwich fills you up. Not me, lol. I knew the FDFL would be gone eventually. They make way more money selling people smaller sandwiches with a bag of vending machine chips and tiny drink for more money. Same way companies keep packaging the same size while shrinking the amount of product inside.

Replace Cowboys with Clowns? Why? Most folks love Cowboys....Clowns on the other hand. Well, all I think of when I see one is John Wayne Gacy.

The 1/4 mile Drag Strip isn't included with park admission. I like the track but not the park. They do have Michael Jackson's Pirate Ship.

Subway is rapidly going downhill for me. Gone is the $5 foot long in exchange for the $6 six inch. Breakfast value menu is gone, etc. $10 for some lunch meat and tiny bag of Chips.

Beech Bend. Yikes. Ride Rumbler then leave. The rest are available at most any State/County Fair.

What is Mild, Terrible, Boring, to some is Wild, Terrific, Exciting to others. One of the few things I like about people, is that we do not all like the same things.

I loved Wild Eagle so I would most likely enjoy Gatekeeper as well. The drop on Shiekra was nice, the loops cool as well. The fact that it is over so quickly, sucks.

Keep the thrills coming? I take it you have never been on a Dive Coaster. I enjoyed my ride on Shiekra but it was far from thrilling.
