True. I will be at the State Fair on both weekends. Will look from afar and see how it looks crowd wise before deciding to enter. The only rides I have any real interest in riding are Thunder Run and Lightning Run. Not too worried about dollar drinks or food in the park really. There will be plenty of that available at the State Fair. The booth I help with is in close proximity to the Webb's Butcher Block booth, so I normally help deplete their stock while there.

You missed out. It was my favorite trip of the 2014 operating season thus far, which is saying a lot. Glad you had fun. Some friends were there and said they had fun even though the place was crowded. The older I get, the less I can take of crowds.

Call me crazy but I am now thinking about visiting the park during the State Fair. I haven't been to the park yet and my State Fair admission is free so that makes for a cheap visit.

Sounds like I made the right decision by staying home.

Who gives a rats backside how it ties in? Is it really the end of the world? As for the ride, it looks amazing and I am looking forward to riding it next year.

Everything is offensive to most anyone these days, Terp. As for Haunt, I don't care it for when it is included with my pass. I sure won't pay for any extra....as is. IF they did make it more interactive and actually SCARY, I would think about it.

Looks like every last piece of the ride has been removed. Seems awfully extensive for just a "Rehab".

Taft only had a small stake in Wonderland Sydney and sold that to other Australian Investors rather than Viacom. Zodiacs current location is unknown. It was taken down, loaded into containers and vanished.

I enjoyed every Coaster at BGT, except for Gwazi, that thing is TERRIBLE.

Ride Shiekra first, then spend the rest of the day riding Kumba. Great ride.

My only Dive Coaster experience has been Shiekra and it was one of a kind. It is the only Coaster I have ever been on that was dispatched WITHOUT having the Ops check the restraints.

I suggest you go to Carowinds sometime in the future.Or SeaWorld Orlando. Manta looks pretty darn awesome! Manta is an awesome ride and I would love to have a B&M Flying Coaster in closer proximity.

^That. The prices at Busch Gardens/SeaWorld are minimal when compared to KI. The same is true of Legoland. The prices at KI are insane. The people we have taken to the park, never wish to return because of said pricing. Only reason we eat in the park is that we have the season dining plan.

This. There is no way on earth I would buy any food inside the park this season.

You should go to D.C. so much too see their that should not be missed.

Another Cedar Fair Parking Lot Coaster?

Local news story yesterday said that the park is operating at higher than anticipated levels so far. Also saw that attendance at Holiday World has not been impacted and their season pass sales have increased.

Bring A Friend for $15 days in July. God I hope not.

While I understand why it is done it is the most annoying thing I have ever encountered on the Internet in nearly 20 years, lol. Not to mention this particular place is the ONLY one I have EVER encountered it on in all these years. Carry on.

Didn't like Banshee but thinks that Firehawk is "Decent"? That is comedic GOLD right there.

No way am I going anywhere near KK during the State fair.
