  1. Why do they have to make everything so complicated? One Entree..... One side..... K...I....S....S
  2. A good CEO, LOVES a challenge. I'm sure he has enough Millions saved up to take a gamble.
  3. Wow. It cannot be easy nor cheap to recover from this over and over again.
  4. Woah, the Germans took over KY after I left? My family has made no mention of this.
  5. Launch video. I'm loving the sound of this ride.
  6. Some spinning I can handle, some I can't. I have no problem on anything at Kings Island. Put me on a Tilt a Whirl and look out. Most fairs have a ride normally called Gravatron. That thing is an evil monster from Hades. Same with Merry Go Rounds and Dizzy Dragons.
  7. I prefer to ignore all major news outlets. CNN, Faux News, etc.
  8. According to the article, Mr. Herman didn't attempt to Cancel his. He just didn't read the fine print and got mad when they wouldn't refund him after he went 8 months without keeping tabs on his credit card account. As for my 12 year old, she said that while she has not tried to cancel a SeaWorld pass she knows to keep a closer eye on her bank/credit card statements than the man in the "Lawsuit".
  9. Yeah. Don't feel sorry for anyone that enjoys something you don't. Feeling slightly Pretentious today or is it every day?
  10. I live in good ole Ohio. I wish I lived in FL...if only to not be up to my fluffy white behind in fluffy white snow... It was 80 degrees today and no Snow. Sucks that the company is difficult to deal with when trying to cancel something.
  11. Do you live in Florida? $17 is the monthly amount for a SeaWorld/Busch Gardens Tampa combo pass on the EZPay system that is available to Florida residents. After one year of mandatory payments your pass goes monthly and can be cancelled at any time. However. If you DO NOT tell the Company that you wish to Cancel the Pass, they will keep charging you, every month of every year until you tell them not to. http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-orlando/book-online/tickets/annualpassesresident/?from=Booking_Widget As for the "lawsuit". the guy should have read what he was agreeing to. Even my twelve year old can comprehend the EZPay system.
  12. Back home the (Hardin) County Fair is a pay one price and get everything type of event. There are no ride ticket or any of that stuff. Of course that means that you must pay full price to get your 1 year old into the event. That price goes up every year.
  13. Believe it has been said at least 100 times that backwards Racer cannot be brought back.....period. Anyways. Someone be sure and get some nice pics and video of the ride this season. I won't be able to see it in person til at least 2016.
  14. I was born and raised in KY. Was not aware of the "must use poor Grammar and Spelling" clause on my Birth Certificate.
  15. Thank you! Liking this area so far. More country feeling here with Horses and such. Far enough from the cities to relax but close enough to play when the need arises. The business owner called me this evening to thank me for joining his company. Very happy with my decisions so far. First item of business once settled? Busch/SeaWorld pass. Kumba, here I come.
  16. Sitting in a hotel in Ocala at the moment. Today I accepted a job that doubles my pay and put a deposit down on a house. Gotta head back to KY in the morning. Got ten days to pack up the house and get back down here. Can't wait to hit the Coasters. Bummer I missed a second chance at Gwazi, just kidding.
  17. Lol. It's gonna take more than some Basketballs to keep this park going. Besides, the park is in Louisville, most everyone there owns a Basketball or three.
  18. The Rumor has become Reality. http://www.tampabay.com/news/humaninterest/busch-gardens-gwazi-roller-coasters-clickety-clack-goes-silent/2216014
  19. I now have less than 2 weeks left in this state. Looks like I will not be visiting the park this year for sure. Hopefully it gets a third season.
  20. I had a 69 Camaro many years ago that was made at the Norwood plant. That said, nothing is forever, everyone knows that. Thanks for once again pointing out the painfully obvious. As for the present, things are going great and a possible new plant may be headed to my (til March anyways) state that will mean plenty of jobs for folks. Whether it lasts 2 years or 50, no one knows. Never intended this to become a discussion on how long a manufacturing plant MAY stay open.
