  1. I actually did notice that problem earlier today. I then tested it by liking a comment below it, but was able to unlike it. However, the one I was trying to originally unlike had no "unlike" box. This was without reloading the page. I also just tested it again on your comment. If I like it and want to dislike it, the box is still there. After I reloaded the page, the dislike box had disappeared. I'm using Chrome on my desktop.
  2. April 17 and 18 both fall during my district's Spring Break! Yay! I'll definitely try to be there on Opening Day and hopefully make it for Media Day (still need to join a club, find people to go with, etc.)
  3. ^ With that in mind, I wonder of this is the park's best decision. I remember two or three years back the Reds opening day was scheduled for Good Friday. Ultimately, MLB and the Reds decided to move it after complaints from many Cincinnatians.
  4. A Friday?! Has Kings Island ever opened on a Friday before?
  5. You have found memories? What an interesting thought that is. I wish I could say I have fond memories of finding memories, but I can not. Would you mind sharing how you "found" these memories?
  6. ^ Welcome to KIC! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here!
  7. ^ How would that not be a record? The site started in 2003. It's 2014. Eleven years is the biggest bump possible. ( Unless, of course, you are referring to something entirely different and are about to make me feel stupid.)
  8. People do post those type of things seriously believing it is true. And they expect others to believe it as well. See the "Guests say the Darnest Things" thread or KI's Facebook.
  9. James78, do you remember where you entered the line at? If so, where?
  10. Cool to see the area where Vortex is after The Bat has been torn down, but before Vortex's construction.
  11. Perhaps she knew it was a stupid question and was merely trying to see what you would say.
  12. Including one in Ohio that has had their last two coasters come from this fantastic company. A third would be awfully nice.
  13. ^^ I considered sarcasm but you can't always tell online, especially when only one peson is using it versus more than one.
  14. Did the last four posts really just happen? This is KIC, not Facebook.
  15. ^^ Wow! Fantastic shot, VortexBFF! You should have saved that one for the contest!
  16. ^ That would explain why I've never experienced a bad ride on FOF. Yay for me!
  17. ^^ What a perfect attraction to place outside the entrance to Dinosaurs Alive!
  18. ^ Cross-threading at its best.
  19. ^ calakapepe's post says nothing of believing Phantom Of The Opera has anything to do with Phantom Theater. Merely that one reminds him of the other, which is perfectly understandable as both involve a phantom and a theater.
  20. Don't forget how clear and clean the splashdown pool is! ( I'm surprised Terp didn't mention that.)
  21. Common core has not killed cursive. It was killed long before that. I learned it in second grade, was required to use it occasionally in third grade, and have not used it since. I am now in tenth grade. *Only exception being my signature. (And even that had made up letters.) We're still on that? Apparently. Pretzels are VERY different experiences. When even the park's PR person comes on here and says the park and B&M say it's a Batwing, I think I'd listen. That's just me. I'm funny that way. Words matter. I agree, words matter. Though, pretzel KNOTS have very similar experiences to batwings. I don't know why anyone ever said pretzel loop. And yeah, it's a batwing, officially. A unique one, but officially a batwing.. that uniqueness is what causes argument. http://rcdb.com/1292.htm -- Just because it's official, doesn't mean it's always the best answer (Meaning IMO for this case). Though, it's usually the best answer. I've never said pretzel loop. Put me on team pretzel knot. I think we should even try to convince B&M that its a knot. Considering the only other coaster with it is that one, they may not even be aware of this element's existence. (As for how we would try to convince them, I have no clue. So don't ask.)
  22. I went on opening day 2011. Both new attractions (WS and DA) were not to open for another month. The weather wasn't even good- cloudy and cool. Yet, the park was PACKED. My friend's dad left early and said he'd come back to pick us up. (I couldn't just leave like that. I had been without the park for months.) Even The Racer's line was spilling out past the basketball game. And Vortex's stretched well past Jukebox Diner. After that experience, I have sworn to myself I will never again go on opening day.
  23. tge? A typo by Terp!
  24. ^ My dad rode Roller Coaster just this past November while in Vegas. He said it was the roughest coaster experience he's ever had.
  25. ^ Seeing that makes me wish they would've kept its original colors. Kings Island really could use a green coaster.
