  1. @ Coasterama- Just noticed your latest avatar. Nice Photoshop, but if such an attraction were to be announced for KI, I'm sure several on here would throw riots.
  2. I'm on Mobile, I do not have the time to search for the signature in question. Please supplement a link please, possibly a quote, or description at that, that's all I ask, which seems almost onerous at the moment. The signature in question belongs to BB1. Oh, wait, that's you! Then, you are stating that he was making an off topic post of no relevance to the topic? Or, did you perceive the post incorrectly? If he did imply that, then he has lost ethos, and logos, to this discussion for such an immature post of no relevance. Even more so, you are posing a post to me, which to me, seems like you are trying to spark a flame war of some sort with a post, which, pokes fun at a small thing that for all that matters, is looked over. It is not the signature, the User, heck even the profile picture, it is the content posted by the User that makes up who the User is, and what Ethos he or she has. I don't really care what you think about my signature, I like it one way, you like it another. This is MY User, and what I like on my User stays on my User. Is this post directed towards towards me or TTD? If it is directed to me, I would like you to know that I mean no offense by my post and was merely trying to answer your question of what signature TTD was talking about. I was trying to answer in a fun, creative way. Sorry if you misunderstood. I couldn't care less about how up to date your signature is. It could be from 1980 for all I care.

  4. This is great news. It now appears that I finally will be able to take a trip back in time at my local amusement park this season.
  5. Yes, just left click the part(s), and hit delete. Simplicity at it's finest. What? My question was already answered.
  6. Yep, pretty simple. I can't believe I couldn't think of that considering I just copied and pasted a quote into my post, but before I ever officially posted my post, earlier today. Thanks!
  7. You've all seen that moment when someone tries to reply to someone directly above them, but then someone else posts before they post their reply and things get confusing. The easy solution is to edit in a quote. However, I can not figure out how to do this. At first I thought it wasn't possible, but then I noticed someone else do it. So will someone offer me assistance here?
  8. Wow, great pictures in these trip reports. And, I must add, I feel sorry for your brother. I couldn't even imagine growing up with 5 sisters and no brothers.
  9. Off-topic, but 2019 will also be the 150th anniversary of the Cincinnati Reds and the 200th anniversary of the University of Cincinnati.
  10. My school was the first in the area to call off. We were called off at 9:30 and upon checking the news list, no other major districts were closed yet. Edit: Why are we having this discussion in the Banshee thread?
  11. I don't see anything in your post to lead me believe Cedar Point is planning something "big." As you say, Rob Decker is that position for Cedar Fair, not just Cedar Point. His challenge could have been Banshee, it could be Carowinds 2015, or a number of other possibilities. As for 5-years plans, parks have always been rumored to have them. That comment is more along the lines of, "We' re not going to reveal anything. Devarious, on the other hand, could be something interesting. I checked Pointbuzz, but can't find it. Do you have a link?
  12. If there are T-shirts, I really hope they don't do it the way Cedar Point did with Gatekeeper. I mean someone is going to wait outside your parking lot for hours to be first, but you're going to give a T-shirt to a random person who didn't come early at all instead of that early-riser? Really?
  13. I would love if they did it so that the Banshee scream was played when a train is at the top of the lift. It would signify the start of her journey. I would also prefer that it be played loud enough to be heard by those who are actually on the train as well as in the queue.
  14. Not to argue with you, but the park's solution in your case is something called profit-making. They are still a business in a capitalist world. Of course, it would be nice if they would offer a discount to pass-holders on lockers or something of the like.
  15. Wouldn't getting rid of the old wave pool defeat the purpose of adding a second? (Rhetorical question. Answer is yes.)
  16. That all sounds nice, but would a Giant Wheel be able to fit in Octoberfest?
  17. Making sure other people like the ride might matter. Otherwise, the relationship between you and your favorite ride may end similar to the Rolling Thunder-Terpy relationship.
  18. Both are true. You'll watch it. It'll disappear for a few seconds, then it'll come back, you'll watch it some more, then it'll disappear, then comeback and disa....
  19. I'd say so. Several clubs offer $15 as their lowest price. $9 was the first time I've ever seen anything under it.
  20. It's a rendering. Things are seen in renderings all the time that don't appear in the final product. I have a feeling they didn't yet know what they wanted to do with the area, so just left the circle in for the rendering.
  21. There are actually a lot of parks that have put themselves on to street view. Take a look around at the parks of your choice. You'll find most are on it. I've taken many trips to parks far way from the comfort (or rather displeasure) of my desk chair. However, don't bother with Disney. They are not.
  22. By that logic we need to pay attention to commas. I'll start. Don is missing a comma before "but." I actually wouldn't mind if more people would pitch in on commas. It really helps with school. It's hard to tell, but after switching back and forth a few times, I think he has it right. The fact that the rendering is from a similar angle to the webcam really helps. Perfect example: http://www.foxnews.com/travel/2013/04/29/top-4-dinosaur-theme-parks/ That's one of the top four news media outlets in the nation with online readers in the millions misspelling a name while promoting a recent attraction. In other news, I'm still hoping for "Batwing" chicken wings as a menu item this upcoming season. Wow. I had to skim through that article a couple of times before actually noticing the error. It's like one of those things where you're so used to seeing something one way that when it's wrong by a letter or two, you can't even notice it. Sorry for so many quotes. You guys were busy today. I had to play catch up- three pages worth!
  23. ^ Unfortunately, he's not trolling. He has permission and he will continue his meaningless efforts. Rhonda, on the other hand, um, I don't know what that is. Post I was referring to has been deleted.
