I knew that logo was too cool and had too much effort put into it to only be for a mockup/red herring.

I think it was supposed to be blue and orange, but the orange faded into yellow. -

How long before someone attributes these injuries to the blue and yellow roller coaster at the back of Coney Mall? -
Or better yet, do our holiday meetup at Great Wolf Lodge so that we can see it from there.

And if Don sees this and moves the camera tomorrow to remove Flight Deck from the frame, I will 1) blame you and 2) guess that its actually going to happen. (Now watch him move it tomorrow for no other reason than to mess with me....)

KIC train on The Beast!

Great report! LOL!
-
What, no pictures at Taco Bell? Seriously, great report, and I'm glad I was able to share the day with you! Hopefully these memories will tide us over for the next six months!

I've edited a few more captions into my post with the tour pictures above.

GOCC tour! Station foundation: The light-colored matting you see here is designed to help prevent landslides during construction: Some footers in the valley, plus Adventure Express: I can think of no better caption for this one than what was said on the KIC Facebook page a few days ago: "Insert loop here." Exit of the dive loop. Don said that there will be no digging out under this point. For reference, I am 5' 6" tall. Don getting ready to take a group photo: Fire-Beast-OF FEAR, BeastForever, and ohiocolts peeking under the fence during the group photo: Looking straight up from under the dive loop: First drop: Dive loop: Support label: CLIFFORD!! Transmitted from Wild Space via my datapad's DROID brain EDIT: Some more captions have been added.

For the sake of politeness, I will refrain from saying what I want to say.

I am a member of ClubTPR, and quite enjoy it. I will be renewing my ClubTPR membership in February. ... and I will also withdraw my next statement, because no one here will like it..... What is your next statement?

I don't know about Gatekeeper, but I believe Diamondback was media only. Inviting club members to media day is something new that started with Gatekeeper, I think.
-
Yep, you were fed a line of bull. As for renaming it the Raven, something tells me a certain park in Indiana would not be as impressed with that name as they were with Banshee.
-
GOCC is the only club I've ever been a member of and will almost certainly be invited to media day (seeing as how KI already recognizes them with the tour Sunday and a standing offer for access to ERT for all GOCC members). Beyond that, I don't know.
-
Saturday is likely to be extremely busy. Sunday is likely to be dead. If you have the option to do so, I would strongly urge you to go on Sunday instead. You'll probably be able to do more in three hours on Sunday than you would in eight hours on Saturday.

Posted on the KIC Facebook page: Caption: "Insert loop here."

I'm sure you can talk him into one before the end of the night.
-
^ "Cedar fail"? On what did they fail?
-
I have not yet decided whether to take one for myself.
-
Tell him you need support, that you don't want to do it alone. Or make an agreement with each other in advance that if either of you chicken out before going in, the other gets to call him a wuss the rest of the night.
-
Then talk him into it. You can face your fears together and support each other.

Except that while waiting in line, I noticed very little correlation between scream volume and the alleged decibel reading. Something in the setup wasn't working, or they unknowingly ran into technical limitations. Either way, I saw some screams get higher "decibel readings" than others that my unaided ear could immediately tell were louder. They might as well have been drawing winners at random out of a hat, from what I saw.
