  1. Yet another step in the right direction! I love the direction the park has been headed since Ouimet took over. Can't wait to see what changes there are in food next season!
  2. Server is very slow for me right now. Takes 20 seconds to register a like and 10 to 15 seconds to load a page on my laptop. Firefox 25 on Windows 8. EDIT: and nearly 30 seconds to post this.
  3. I did not say who was an idiot. For all you know, it could be an off-topic comment. The idiot could be the worker, if he is found or pleads guilty. If he is found not guilty, it could be someone who screwed up the investigation. If there isn't an idiot involved in the case, then the idiot could be the troll that I just banned on Wookieepedia or some random guy on Facebook that said something I didn't agree with. It could be anyone, whether connected to the case or not.
  4. ^ Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. If Banshee will have a gift shop at the exit, then there's no real point to a second gift shop across the midway that sells basically the same type of stuff. I'm guessing that On Location will either get a makeover, different merchandise, and a new name, or else will be gone entirely and replaced with something else. It might become a food stand that's actually open, since there will be a larger number of people in the area, and Stunt Crew Grill, which is basically never open anyway, could become a permanent Haunt set-up and storage location.
  5. Error: Finding of guilt not found. [A]bort, [R]etry, gnore? EDIT: What malem said.
  6. Expert: Not sure how "current" that is, given how fast they're moving. Easy: Photo of Diamondback Hard: Photo of Diamondback's splashdown Expert: Photo of a train on Diamondback's MCBR Transmitted from Wild Space via my datapad's DROID brain
  7. But where has someone said that the owner directed the ride op to tamper or that the owner was negligent? I'm not seeing any such allegations.
  8. How is the owner criminally liable? If the operator tampered with the system, then he is the one who should be charged (and he was). I don't understand how the owner can be charged with a crime when the accident was allegedly caused by the operator's tampering.
  9. That is my favorite. Perfect freeze frame of the water hitting Fire-Beast-OF FEAR in the face.
  10. I just wish I could dream. I haven't had a dream in what must be twenty years now.
  11. Until the winter meetup, the jury is still out.
  12. That answer was exactly what I expected.
  13. Prophecy, good guess, or coincidence?
  14. Nope, they still got to ride The Beast, so I think they were just fine. Oooh, BURN!
  15. You forgot to include media day in the poll options.
  16. ^ Rather than taking a screenshot, you can simply right-click the webcam image and select "Save Image". It's faster and less hassle.
  17. Count me as someone else who thinks that "Amusement Dark" is a terrible name.
  18. I was there and was with the group most of the time.
  19. I think the point that razmataz99 is trying to make is that he cannot give a proper, detailed answer to the original question until he learns more about past Winterfests. Without knowing anything about them, all he (or I) can give is a generic answer like the one immediately above.
  20. Okaaaaaaaaaay... *lets out a few awkward chuckles*
  21. I've seen that kind of harness (I call it a leash) at the park many times. An Amazon.com search for "kid leash" turns up quite a few options ranging from about $10 to $20, including a monkey one for $15.
  22. Don was just on 700 WLW talking about The Bat and the park in general. He talked about The Bat being an appropriate name for Flight Deck because of how a bat swoops around gracefully and dives unexpectedly. He confirmed that the ride itself would not change. The host brought up the Half Pint Brawlers and how he loved them, which led into a general discussion about Haunt shows and Ed Alonzo, which segued into the possibility of a Saved By the Bell cast reunion with Ed Alonzo and the challenges faced in doing so (I missed most of that portion). HW's Wildebeest and Mammoth were brought up by the host and Don called a water coaster a "great suggestion" IIRC. Discussion was had about setting a record for most rides on one coaster; Don suggested doing it on Banshee since you would be able to start at zero with everyone else (he also briefly mentioned doing so himself back in the 80s but did not mention hitting 12,000). There was general discussion about wooden coasters being rough; Don likes them a little rough. There may have been other topics discussed, but I was not able to pay undivided attention to the segment, so I might have missed something.
