  1. #KingsIsland2014 or #KI2014? You posted the latter on Facebook and Twitter.
  2. I love it! Even if I did put a banner at the top of my user talk page saying that I am "semi-retired" last week.
  3. SheiKra is the most boring coaster I've ever ridden (or was until I rode GateSleeper). Being held at the top of the drop is nothing more than a gimmick. I would much rather wait an hour for Maverick than walk on to a Dive Machine.
  4. That is the ONLY game I will play. The prizes are well worth the $2 and more.
  5. Pick me! Pick me! No! Me! I would love to be a meme!
  6. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to a SWE park this year. Thanks for offering these, though!
  7. Is there an expiration date on these tickets?
  8. 11,000 posts! *hiss* Alright, them's fightin' words. Apparently he was trying to hack up a hairball at :12 before the big event. Ha ha!
  9. http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/coasters/new02/cp_wickedtwister/cp_wicked_pr.shtml Ugh....semantics. I'm sorry...really...but I don't see the connection. All I see in the article is a reference to how CP would be the only park in the world with 3 coasters over 200'. I suppose, yes, that was a world record for a park, but maybe I'm missing something in what you guys are saying. I mean, at that time, WT was announced to be the world's tallest and fastest twisting impulse coaster....ie. a world record-breaking attraction. It just seems to me that "world record-breaking attraction" is a reference to a "world record-breaking attraction", and not a clever play on words for the sake of marketing in which they play around with the collective minds of the public, tricking them into thinking the ride itself will be a record breaker, all the while secretly knowing the record would only apply to the entire park as opposed to the attraction itself. Has anyone seen my Disaronno? I think I need it tonight. I could use a good buzz. Here's a more directly relevant example: http://rcdb.com/584.htm?dt=126&d=31 The SOB fact sheet claimed most wooden track at one park as one of SOB's records. Go out in the yard and play. We'll call you inside when supper's ready. First, it's "dinner", and second, I've already had it. Meow! *hiss*
  10. OK, what's wrong with us? The day that we got the date of the announcement, and again when the blueprints were found, we peaked at around 960 to 975 posts in a 24-hour period, but AFAIK we didn't break 1,000 (unless it was briefly broken in the morning when I was in bed asleep and couldn't check it). I thought that activity would be maintained through the announcement and we would eventually reach 1,440 in 24 hours, or one post per minute average. Instead, right now we're down to fewer than 500 posts in the past 24 hours. Come on! Post! Post! POST!!!
  11. I wear my fanny pack on Diamondback. It helps when I want to re-ride with a single rider. In what way? What way do I wear my fanny pack? In what way does it help when you want to re-ride with a single rider?

  13. You requested it, so here it is:
  14. The news has already reported it as world record breaking....not park record breaking. He means that the park as a whole would break the world record for most inverted track in a single park.
  15. Maybe we now know what YoungStud does for a living.... As much as I dislike him, I would not even think of suggesting that. And on that note, can we get back on topic, please?
  16. It comes up with mostly porn. Yuck.
  17. Just curious....did the park officially (publicly) comment on the details? Yeah, unless the park has publicly released this information, you probably won't get re-hired now.
  18. I'm thinking about filming it with my smartphone if I can get a good view. I'm not streaming it, though, as I don't have enough data allowance for that. But if I do film it, it will eventually end up on YouTube. "Eventually" being the key word.
  19. Yes, the weekdays with 8:00 pm closings will generally be dead. One of the best times to visit the park if you want to do a lot of rides.
  20. If you mean the KI&MVRR, they generally run two trains during waterpark hours and one train when the waterpark is closed.
  21. May is hit or miss with the crowds; some days the park is dead, and other days it gets slammed with school field trips. This time of year is more predictable. That said, this is getting close to the end of peak vacation season, and people will be taking their last-minute trips and park visits before school starts. Combine that with the beautiful weather forecast for both days, and those same waits you experienced in May are not out of the question on either day. So be prepared for that.
  22. We'll see if he was close (just off by a year) in a few short days. Well thank you very much Goodyellowkorn182, yes it is I, PizzaBaby027. I've made predictions before, SOB being torn down Actually the question mark placed behind somewhere kind of indicates SOB, worlds longest coaster being built and last year I posted that B&M were scaling the land around SOB. Anyway thank you for keeping to your word. Its great to know that one of my predictions have come to pass. Hmm. A search of the members list for "PizzaBaby027" finds no match, and the quoted post (which can be seen by clicking the arrow on the right side of the quote header) shows the username beginning with "Guest", meaning that you were permanently banned and the account was deleted. So my question to you is: Did the admins give you permission to return? Yes Okay, just checking.
  23. Except for holiday weekends and special events, I usually see little difference between the crowds on Sunday and Monday (Saturday is generally the busy day). Weather is one of the biggest factors in determining crowd size, but both days look similar in that regard. The only thing that might affect the crowds, as LongTimeLurker pointed out above, would be Reds Day on Monday, but I don't know how much of an effect that has on the overall crowds.
