We'll see if he was close (just off by a year) in a few short days. Well thank you very much Goodyellowkorn182, yes it is I, PizzaBaby027. I've made predictions before, SOB being torn down Actually the question mark placed behind somewhere kind of indicates SOB, worlds longest coaster being built and last year I posted that B&M were scaling the land around SOB. Anyway thank you for keeping to your word. Its great to know that one of my predictions have come to pass. Hmm. A search of the members list for "PizzaBaby027" finds no match, and the quoted post (which can be seen by clicking the arrow on the right side of the quote header) shows the username beginning with "Guest", meaning that you were permanently banned and the account was deleted. So my question to you is: Did the admins give you permission to return?

Now you're a tad slow.

An avatar picture getting 2 seconds of airtime on a local news channel is worth being jealous over? WOW! More like half a second. The news just can't take any more of my avatar's awesomeness than that.
-
0.5 seconds down, 14 minutes and 59.5 seconds to go.

Okay, maybe I will watch it after all. I normally don't watch most videos posted on here, but it seems that an exception is warranted here.

At Juke Box Diner, you can order any of the entrees by themselves rather than as a combo with fries for a buck or two cheaper. Same goes at the Snake Pit by Diamondback. EDIT: This reminds me that I haven't had a cheesesteak yet this season at KI. Must fix that on Thursday...

Why would the state of Georgia write about it ? Jr... who copies JCGOBLE3 and reads the Columbus Dispatch daily. I don't read the Columbus Dispatch daily.

The cheapest cargo shorts I can find on the American Eagle website are $25. Where are the $10 shorts?
-
Not necessarily. The name is used by other companies as well. For example, Payless Shoe Source has its own brand of shoes called American Eagle by Payless, unrelated to American Eagle Outfitters.
-
Oh, really? Where do you get these shorts and how expensive are they?
-
Cargo shorts are uncomfortable and take forever to dry after water rides. A fanny pack allows me to wear more comfortable shorts that dry quicker. This. I don't care what you think.

The Amusement Park World without Kings Island
jcgoble3 replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Kings Island
Flight of Fear was originally supposed to be a cable launch like on montazumas revenge at knotts but they couldn't design a fast enough clutch for the launch so they invented LIMs Good point, but mine is still valid as well. LIMs were invented because the cable launch was not fast enough. Without the invention of LIMs, even faster launch systems like the one we see on TTD may have never been invented. Also, take a look at this RCDB search for launched coasters. There were very few launchers before the two Flights of Fear. Flight of Fear was the turning point, after which launched coasters became far more popular and commonplace. So without Flight of Fear sparking interest in launched coasters, there would likely be very few of them today, and there wouldn't be enough interest in them to warrant the expense of inventing faster launch systems. -
The show schedule I have is only valid through August 11, so be prepared for the possibility that some shows may have wrapped up for the season by the 15th.

Interesting. I have used my credit card at KI in the past, but have not always been asked for ID. Sometimes they ask for it, sometimes they don't.
-
We all know one of those 2 sides would be inoperable half of the time... Could they really market that as a racing coaster... I think he meant two companies collaborating on a single coaster, not each one building one half of a racing coaster.
-
Is this what we've devolved to? Taking potshots at someone else's unrelated fandoms because you can't make an on-topic comeback? Give me a break.
-
In many parks, ALL beer buyers are carded. Regardless of apparent age. And some places require photo ID when making a credit card purchase.
-
Terpy, shouldn't you be in bed already?
-
They go hand in hand with Crocs... Excuse me? You will not mock my fanny pack nor my Crocs. Fanny packs are totally acceptable at amusement parks, and Crocs are extremely comfortable. I am offended that you would diss my choice of fashion. (just kidding)

Why in the world would we do that? You didn't ask anything wrong. We aren't being mean to you. We just feel it's better for new members to get caught up by reading through the posts first so we don't need to keep explaining things that have already been explained. There are SO many questions that are easily answered by reading through the thread. If it's a new question, we'll be happy to answer it for you. You expect every new user considering posting in this thread to read almost 10,000 posts? By the time they do that, the announcement will have already been made. And they have no way of knowing at what point to start reading, especially when the thread list only provides links to the first three pages and the last one. I think we can cut the new users a little slack in that regard.

A Fast Lane Tuesday with my 7 year old daughter
jcgoble3 replied to Chalmers's topic in Trip Reports
You don't have to buy a locker for dry rides. You can instead choose to not carry so much crap in the first place and leave the unnecessary stuff in the car. Everything, and I mean everything, that I carry in the park fits in a fanny pack that I can take with me on the ride. If you're carrying a backpack in the dry side of the park, you're carrying too much stuff. Period. -
Easily. 11,000 is within reach also.
-
What, you think you can only ride one ride? Seriously, ride them all. Don't let someone's negative opinion of a ride keep you from riding it and forming your own opinion. Ride everything for yourself, then make your own judgments. Also be aware that the park closes at 8:00 pm that day and there will be no fireworks. On the bright side, crowds will likely be almost non-existent, meaning that you'll have plenty of time to ride everything multiple times.
