I'd be at the park now if I lived closer and could afford it. Unfortunately, I live 40 minutes and 35 miles away, which means that each round trip costs me nearly $10 in gas, and I'm almost out of money for the month. So I won't be able to make it back down to KI until August.

Summary: HTCO posted shortly before midnight last night that there was something interesting to see, and the thread exploded. He refused to say what. Around the same time, the Save SOB Facebook page reported green coaster supports in the construction area, but there were no photos. This morning, it was determined that the green "supports" were actually nothing more than PVC pipe. And we have yet to figure out what HTCO was talking about. At least one other user (maybe more; I haven't been counting) has reported that they saw what HTCO was allegedly referring to, but claims that he too is unable to say what it is because he had to sign a waiver (which the proper term would be an NDA). Complicating matters, this morning Don tweeted, "Heading out into the park to get some early morning photos that @KICentral would love to see!" At this point, either Don is trolling us with the NDAs, or HTCO is leading several established users in a group troll and Don is playing along. Either way, it stinks in here.

It is "Continuous Shooting". Was using that function at all the shows I caught. Ah, I know what that is. Thanks.

Can we PLEASE not quote that whole stack of images over and over? Quote one or two images if you must to illustrate a point, but certainly delete ALL of them from your quote if you're only replying to a text comment. Please. It's annoying.

Are those bright lights always there? I've never checked KI's cams at night so I don't know. I think those bright lights are the standard pathway/queue lights in X-Base.

I just noticed that on both occasions that I encountered the bug, the post was inserted between the same two posts: #7122 and #7123 in the Starting to Decode 2014 thread. I wonder if that could be a clue.

If you look at the timestamps and post content carefully, you'll see that when I submitted the post at the top of the screenshot, the JavaScript/Ajax engine that submits and displays it without reloading the page somehow managed to insert the post above two earlier ones, including the one I was quoting. I have no clue why it did this. When I reloaded the page, the post was in the correct place. EDIT: It just happened to me again; this time it was inserted above 15 other posts. Firefox 22.0 on Windows 8, if it matters. Others have seen the same issue.

The person who posted the pics on TPR said there was no mention of having to keep the email a secret. These images were apparently sent to all season pass holders and questions asking if they would want a wooden roller coaster, tell their friends about it, etc; so I don't know how many pass holders there are but a lot of people must know about this already (expecially when its already on Screamscape). That's odd that there would be no mention of keeping this a secret. Very odd. Consider me intrigued.

Um, surveys that show you stuff that hasn't been released to the public invariably start off by requiring you to accept a non-disclosure agreement with stiff penalties for violation. Whoever leaked these images is probably going to be in HUGE trouble with Darien Lake when they track down who it was.

The hour every morning was only last year. Before that it was an hour only on Saturdays and a half hour all other days.

No problem. I always take the time to help out those using Flickr, because it can be confusing (especially with their redesign a couple of months ago). However, I like it for the ability to resize pictures on the fly, whereas most other photo-hosting sites force you to embed the same size you uploaded, which simply wastes bandwidth and data when you can usually click through to the full size anyway.

Don't paste it into "media" or anything else. Just paste the raw code directly into the main edit box and click "post".
