  1. Nemo, do you mean just any staff member or actual guests?
  2. I was going to post this but didn't - if that makes any sense. What is this person trying to say anyway?
  3. "The Interpreters Forum" - where all the interpreters of discussion forums across the Internet interpret things. It may be a real thing...Terpy, what have you been hiding from us?
  4. (I'm starting this post over because it was a mess before). What is the longest you've gone without riding a certain ride? This doesn't include rides in Planet Snoopy or rides that are defunct. The longest I've been without riding one is Firehawk, with my last ride being in 2010.
  5. The crazy thing to think about is, will some of us still be on KIC in twenty years? I think it'd be really cool to see how I change as a poster (joined at 11 years old, could stay until I'm 30!)
  6. I haven't been around long enough but whatever happened to Beast(numbers, I think 1979?)...
  7. Well, Boomerang Bay and Hanna Babera Land are technically still here...
  8. I live in a cul de sac like TheCrypt and we do the same thing. We all get a big fire pit and sit in the street and give out candy. Our street is in the back of the neighborhood so not many people come. We don't really decorate our house for that reason. Just fall stuff, like pumpkins, cornstalks, and scarecrows.
  9. What are you talking about? It's a roller coaster, indoors. That's it. As "jdawg" said "It's a roller coaster indoors, Thats it".....I mean theres not much to it.... its not Flight of Fear were talking about.....Thats a different story. Flight of Fear is a roller coaster indoors too...
  10. What are you talking about? It's a roller coaster, indoors. That's it.
  11. Help with what? Are you scared to go? (that wasn't supposed to sound mean) or do you just want tips?
  12. I'm so sorry for going way off topic, but I just have to share this with you guys since we're talking about Spongebob. (talking about with friends recently and still can't stop laughing). Anyone remember this awesome hidden message?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNSpNj5g0yw
  13. I would like to see more terrain wooden coasters like The Beast, not more inversion on a wooden coaster.
  14. Who else remembers NLBench?
  15. I was just pointing out that we have a big enough forum to be a big name amusement park fan site. Not suggesting that we should.
  16. It's really too bad KIC is just a Kings Island site - if we were all things amusement parks we'd be at the top along with TPR (not that I like them)
  17. What needs to be updated? What's wrong? (let's play a game..) http://www.KICentral.com/attractions/rollercoasters.php http://www.KICentral.com/attractions/thrillrides.php http://www.KICentral.com/attractions/nickuniverse.php http://www.KICentral.com/attractions/entertainment.php http://www.KICentral.com/attractions/restaurants.php http://www.KICentral.com/park/parkmap.php and much more... I love KIC but just pointing out what needs to be updated.
  18. This site needs updating as well....but not nearly as bad as KIE...
  19. I don't get it when people say Action Zone has nothing.. Invertigo, Flight Deck, Delirium, Drop Tower, Congo Falls, Thunder Alley*...that doesn't seem like nothing to me. *maybe no more
  20. It's been awhile, but I just have to say I hate the ride and think it's boring, and now that it breaks down often, I don't see it being a long-term ride at KI or any Cedar Fair park.
  21. No way should it be put down. It's a tiger - a wild animal - a carnivore. What do you expect it to do when there's an intruder?
  22. (MORE DETAILED) Slaughterhouse: Last year, I loved Slaughterhouse. It was by far the scariest for me. This year, I was disappointed. None of the actors attempted to scare; they were just walking around with their bloody meat cleavers and axes. It was the first time Slaughterhouse hadn’t scared me more than once. And, guess what? The highlight of the maze was the exit, where the chainsaw guy came out of nowhere to scare the living out of you – not there anymore. 5/10 Club Blood: Oh, Club Blood. The scares have always disappointed me but the girls haven’t (I’ll admit it) – but last night, I got scared a whole bunch. Great crew working in it. I loved the strobe lights part; I forgot about it since 2011 but it is easily the best segment of maze in Halloween Haunt. 8/10 Wolf Pack: Another maze that has always disappointed me but was great. Everything in it is covered in leaves, and the wolves match the color of the trees and dirt just right, so there were several times where I almost touched someone when I thought they were fake; one of the scares in it was the best scare of the night for me (a wolf standing perfectly still that looked fake, and decided to pick on me). 9/10 Urgent Scare: We did this one early in the night like Slaughterhouse, so the actors weren’t that great here either. I still love the theme and setup of the maze. The elevator simulation is awesome, and really freaks some people out. I did get scared several times, but once again, most of the actors were just standing around looking at me. 7/10 Holiday Horror: Last year I thought the same thing; this is more fun than scary. Same way this year, but I was disappointed, AGAIN. No actors! The President’s Day section had absolutely no actors like they did last year, there was no Easter bunny, and only about one actor per holiday. I’m very sad that one of my favorite mazes from last year wasn’t nearly as good this year. 4/10. Overall, last night's mazes were decent. They were all the same as last year but there was a scarce amount of scareactors. Nightmare Alley was stupid, like Snowman said, if you're afraid of giant eyes hanging down from trees, don't do it! Other than that, no scareactors there either. Freak Street's the best scare zone, easily, with the overabundance of fog and the lasers. I'm guessing it wasn't that great last night because it was the first night of the year. Hopefully as the year goes on it will get better.
  23. Random question: Is it true that opening night isn't as crowded as other nights? My mom made a good point: Friday nights are big nights for football games (I'm missing out on one myself), it's a Friday instead of a Saturday, and it's not even October yet. But I don't trust Kings Island crowds anymore!
