I'm one of those people that want Disney to drop the Avatar idea. It's not even Disney and I think it would somewhat ruin the Disney feel.

Yeah, I always hate to say Kings Island isn't my favorite park, because it is my home park, but Holiday World is just awesome. The Kochs do so well running it. I remember when I went (two years ago. I miss it!) there was an employee washing a window and while she was doing it she waved and smiled at everyone that passed her. I also did not find one piece of trash on the ground. That aside, they do have awesome roller coasters and the best waterpark I've been to!

At Magic Kingdom last week there was a poor girl crying for her mom with park security talking to her. The park was insanely crowded as well and I can't imagine how scared that girl was. Just guessing that it was because she couldn't find them. Hopefully that was the case and nothing worse.

I second that. From 1992 - 1997 they are so ugly!

Wow, this is awesome! Thanks for posting these!

My favorite hotel chain is Hilton Hotels, every hotel is clean, has a great pool, amazing, comfortable beds, and great customer service. I recommend anyone on vacation to stay at a Hilton hotel if it is nearby. This can even include Hampton Inn (owned by Hilton but a lot cheaper and more of a hotel to stay at when on the road), Hilton Garden Inn, and other Hilton owned hotels. My favorite single hotel would have to be the Bonnet Creek Hilton in Orlando I stayed at last week. Beautiful pool! KI FANATIC 37, Great Wolf Lodge is not that bad. While it is overpriced, every one of my stays has been clean and free of bed bugs, referring to the amount of bed bug reports at the hotel. One complaint I have with the hotel is they make the rooms seem like they're so amazing on the website, but really, it's just a simple hotel room and not "themed" like they say it is. Oh, well. I still love Great Wolf!

You should! If you live in the Cincinnati/Dayton area, it's only about 3 hours to get there. It's worth it.

The Voyage, definitely. The Beast at second, The Raven at third, and The Legend at fourth.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Poseidon's Fury is awesome! As is the 8th Voyage of Sinbad! and the Mystic Fountain is pretty cool too! Noooooo! Please don't be true!

I'm surprised BB1 hasn't posted yet about a family at the park saying "Let's go to Soak City!" Hopefully someone understands.

I must the only guy on here that gets hurt a bit on Delirium. The restraints are pushed down because of the G's, and ouch. Guess I'm the only one.

I would like it for a thrilling family coaster, not a major thrill ride. It still goes 43 mph and on Kings Island's scale it'd still probably be a 5.
-
My first ride it was rough and yes, it made me sick. But as I rode it more and more it seems like it's gotten smoother and I've gotten used to the ride. I haven't gotten sick on it since my first time. I don't have many experiences but I remember last year when I made my mom ride it with me. She absolutely hated it. She says she will never ride it again.

I can't believe I never posted this one. I just now remembered it. In line for The Racer, this girl asked me, "Are you going to go on the backwards one?" I said "No, I'm going on the forward one." Just because I felt bad for her.

Oh, by "some" pictures I seriously mean no pictures. I took one blurry photo of some soldiers on It's a Small World, and a one picture of the castle, and no pictures of IoA. Just too much to do!
-
It's a good ride, but it's not a roller coaster or thrill ride, therefore it's not on my rankings! Although if I put it on my rankings it'd probably be around #20.

Since I stated above I have the post vacation blues, I'll keep myself busy by ranking my favorite rides from my vacation, and rank them out of 10 now. 1. Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey (IoA) 10/10 2. Tower of Terror (Hollywood Studios) 9/10 3. The Incredible Hulk (IoA) 9/10 4. Rock N' Roller Coaster (Hollywood Studios) 9/10 5. Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom) 8/10 6. Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom) 8/10 7. Dinosaur (Animal Kingdom) 8/10 8. The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman (IoA) 7/10 9. Dragon Challenge (IoA) 7/10 10. Pirates of the Caribbean (Magic Kingdom) 7/10

You had some pretty cool pictures. I stink at taking pictures! Random , but I'm feeling the post vacation blues right now. It just went by so fast! Someone help me out here

Well, at least you rode Harry Potter. It's a lot like Spiderman, anyway, besides the robotic arm in Harry Potter. But IMO Harry Potter is much better (but Spiderman is still awesome too!).

Sorry about the no pictures. I honestly took very little pictures. I'd much rather be enjoying the park than worrying about pictures. Check out TheCrypt's Universal trip report for pictures !

Wow, there just needs to be a "Whats closed? " thread on here. SO many posts about rides being down ! -
Yeah but Disney Extra Magic Hours can go up to 2:00 in the morning!

I would love a themed dark ride ... although not sure what the theme would be since it's not a theme park ...
-
Oh no! You missed out on Jurassic Park? It's the best water ride there! Ripsaw Falls was a lot of fun too. The airtime is pretty good! Nice TR (PTR).

Islands of Adventure trip report: Referring back to my previous post, my uncle, aunt, and cousin Erick took me to Universal today. They had 3 day tickets but I am leaving tomorrow so we were just going today with me, so we had to pick one park. I obviously picked IoA (Hulk, Dragon Challenge, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, explains itself). I am glad I picked it ... although I don't think Erick wasn't (afraid of roller coasters). Since my uncle is crazy, he decided to get us all Express Plus passes (cut in front of the lines like Fast Lane, but $20 more ... ). It wasn't needed. I feel kind of bad because he wasted his money. When we walked in I automatically thought "better than Disney!". It was so well themed and there were no bare buildings anywhere. I felt like I was in another world. Of course since its the first ride in the park, we rode The Incredible Hulk. Erick wouldn't ride it, though he definitely missed out. It was only a 10 minute wait but with express it was 5 minutes (like I said, waste of money). The launch uphill was really fun and going right into the inversion was awesome. It is a surprisingly smooth ride, too. I loved the cobra roll over the water. 5/5. (We did so much I will just rate the rides now). The Amazing Adventures of Spider Man - 5/5. (In relation to Harry Potter And The Forbidden Journey, 4/5.) Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls - 4/5. (Gets you soaked! Erick was scared to ride this because of the "big" drop, but he ended up going on it and hating it). Jurassic Park River Adventure - 4/5. (Great end drop, and the T-Rex is almost as good as AK's Dinosaur!) Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey - 10/5. (My favorite ride ever, including coasters. Something about it was just amazing ...). Dragon Challenge - 4/5. (Very fun, but there's no sense of the coasters racing each other). Three Broomsticks (restaurant) - 5/5. (Great fish and chips, with a very cool setting inside. Must eat). Overall Harry Potter Area - 1,000/5. (Universal really outdid it here. Everything about it is perfect; it lives up to the hype and is just like in the movies). Sin bad - 4/5. (A lot of fun, very funny, and the explosions are awesome!) Poseidon - 4/5. (Great effects, wasn't sure what to expect ... half walk through attraction, half show). The Cat In The Hat - 3/5. (Fun ride, but the theme itself was okay; not as good a dark ride as Disney's.) Overall IoA is awesome. I may be overreacting a bit, but it was amazing! Everyone should go sometime in their life ... Thanks for reading my reports. Forget about the pictures, by the way. My trip is now over and I'm going home. Harry Potter ... you must
