^That's been there since last year, it was never taken down.
-
I like it being in late April, early April has usually gross rainy weather and is abnormally cold.
-
Hm, so maybe around April 19 like two years ago.

^That's kind of the point. The wave pool was always so packed. This one will spread out the crowds. Kind of like Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, they have Wildebeest but they made Mammoth, to spread out the crowds. And it works!

But an open park loses money too.
-
How are you thinking they're prepping for Winterfest? It looks like its summer here.
-
It will be sometime in January I heard, but I just wish they would give us an idea, and "soon" is not up to 3 months.
-
I still think 2004. I don't know why. I'm hoping I can just know one, but I have to guess every time!
-
No! You got this topic started again! Psssssh.
-
1986! completely random guess.

I wish Great Wolf would do something like this. I love Great Wolf, but it needs something BIG. -

Oh, I love the site. I didn't mean to put in those words, but I love the forums and come here everyday. I just have a weird thing about websites and not keeping up. If I could, I would fix any problem on a website that I could (not including Wikipedia....). Like Sugar Plums CupCakery, which is in Mason and Milford - they got a new location about a year ago, and on their website it still says "NEW!!!! MASON LOCATION!!!" and it still shows summer hours. Those kinds of things just bother me!

I know I will get the same response as always, how the guys who run this site are busy, but, it really does need to be updated. I love the forums and don't pay much attention to the rest of the site, but what about people wanting to see Kings Island and plan a trip, from a fan's point of view? It still says Firehawk - New for 2007 on the attractions list....
-
Can someone explain to me exactly what led to Son of Beast's closing? Did that lady who had major headaches win in a lawsuit? or did Kings Island just close it because they knew it was too rough, and many people disliked it? i don't keep up much.
-
Probably, but knowing Kings Island's procrastination, we might know nothing until late winter.

This last post was in my opinion the best yet. Perfectly at the right angle, and it was very cool seeing the tree and how much its grown!

I doubt anything will be said, it will rot for a couple more years and finally without warning they'll blow it up. Seriously though...I doubt anything will be said.

^There's no way to tell....probably a lot of people.

Before you say anything, I know, Holiday World is a family owned park and probably wouldn't be able to handle this...but why not, instead of Kings Island bringing back Winterfest, have Holiday World open for the holiday season? Why? Well, for one, the town is called Santa Claus, but the only good time to visit it is in the summer. Other than that, during this time they have Christmas lights and new cabins that opened in 2011. Holiday World, in my opinion, would do great if they were open maybe the day after Thanksgiving to the day before Christmas Eve. I would love to go to Santa Claus for Christmas, but what's the point to drive two and a half hours and not be able to go to HW?

As long as you have no unfriendly neighbors, you'll be fine!
-
They had a giant stocking last year, but this looks even better! 0/1 now, wanna be 1/2!

You are so correct...the coasters are pretty much unrealistic with sharp turns and short, jerky hills. Most RCT3 coasters in real life would kill someone.
