WHY does the logo and name have to be the same as all the other parks. I don't mind so much having the same ride, but WHY do they have to be the SAME EXACT THING!

Santa Claus isn't real? Then who was that in the mall? in all seriousness, I am still surprised they are doing an up-charge. Who knows how good the Halloween festival thing will be anyways!

That video really makes me sad that Kings Island is not a theme park any more. Theme parks > amusement parks any day for me!

My five year old sister is 39 inches. She is very short, and being a coaster crazy, it makes me mad that she can't ride any of the rides with me yet!

I agree with you, it is not like Holiday World to have an "upgrade" for something. These are the people that let you pay half the price of a normal ticket to stay an extra day. These are the people that let you have free soft drinks and sun screen. I was also just checking out the season pass pricing, and WOW! Those are expensive! I'd honestly much rather get platinum passes for Cedar Fair than get those - even though I love HW!

Actually, when I went, the dry park was pretty much empty (walk on for every ride), but SS was packed. That shows you that HW probably gets most their visitors from SS.

Great trip report, McSalsa. I went to HW last year, but unfortunately did not have the chance to ride any slides except Bakuli and Jungle Racers (it was PACKED.) At least you had a fun time, unlike me! (and...you went the same day as me last year....August 21....) weird.

It was a terribly hot day, almost 100 degrees. Probably a lot of people changed their mind about going when they realized what the temperature was....

I honestly don't want a big coaster yet, I'd like for Diamondback to be #1 at the park for awhile!

I really wish I could check out this place. In fact, on my way home from Hilton Head this summer, we went right down the coast of Virginia, so I had to ask my parents if we could go. They said no.

DA! was announced in March, if that is what you are thinking. And I am not stopping you from getting excited, I just don't want to see everyone disappointed.

Really guys, think about it. We have had absolutley no signs of a new ride for 2012, not even a set announcement date. WindSeeker last year was announced what, about a week from now? Do NOT get excited. Although I am excited for HH's new mazes, and I bet those are the only new attractions we will be getting.

^I figured that, it's seems like the fastest part of the ride and it's the roughest, too! So how tall is the second lift hill?

I've always been confused about this. Where is The Beast 110 ft tall and where is the 141 foot drop? And then what is the other hill's height? And when does it hit its full speed?

Did CW really need the same thing as Behemoth? I mean, they already have this, but it's what, 40 feet taller? I am not disappointed, just confused.

If this is a WindSeeker, then Cedar Fair obviously does not understand that it is already in four parks.

There is this store called "Coolest Toys on Earth" in Milford with that same roller coaster - I think it costs around $200.

Sorry, a bit off topic, but in the article: IT'S NOT KING'S ISLAND! The park is called Kings Island, so it would be Kings's Island - or Kings' Island? But NOT King's Island!

I am really getting tired of this - something may happen, something might not. I really wish Kings Island were like Holiday World and they gave us a bunch of hints (they did with DA!, but only DA! pretty much).
