My friend says to me today: "Hey, did you go to Bring a Friend Day?
Me: "No...why would you? Don't you have Gold passes?"
Him: "Yeah. I went by myself. But I got free games at Kings Island for going to it. I got a free ride on the go karts and the basketball thingy."
They're just fixing and adding pieces - at least that's what was stated earlier in the thread. And I think it's just going up and down...can anyone add some more detail?
Probably the small amount of crowds was due to the fact it was 90 degrees outside and absolutley not one cloud in the sky. I bet you if it had been 10 degrees cooler (or at least some clouds in the sky) the park would have had a thirty minute wait for the simplest of rides, such as the Crypt.
Anyways, I liked your short trip report. I don't normally read trip reports because of their length, but this one was short and sweet!
Wish I'd gone today!
It's really just a person's opinion if something is rough or not. If a person likes roughness, then he probably won't notice it as much as people who hate it.
What events do you talk about? Bad year? Winderseeker didn't open on time, how is that events? Just wondering what events your talkin about.
True, true, not really events but....unfortunate things?
WindSeeker not opening, earlier in the year a transformer fire, this fire, a lot of hate from people, bad start to the year (opening day)....so not really events, more of....yah, those.
I don't understand, and it's not just the typing. What's funny about the price? Those things are crazy expensive and why wouldn't you sue if someone did not provide something you had paid for.
No, no, no. I'm laughing at the fact that it's rocks. Just think about ROCKS.
I love the title of this topic.
It just figures though, all the past week has been sunny and 80, and then of course, when it comes to the weekend, when I want to go to KI....it pours rain and drops in temperature by 20.
And it also seems like most kids would much rather watch Sponge Bob 3D instead of a documentary about dinosaurs. Especially without the upcharge. It just doesn't make sense to me!
Let's settle this.
1. A silly movie should NOT stop you from having fun at Kings Island.
2. What if it wasn't there at all? This would just make one less piece of entertainment at the park.
3. Sometimes, there's something called money. Don't take it for granted.
4. The park could just have one ride. Would we be complaining? No, because we wouldn't know any difference.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Edit: I just realized you have two different questions. Is the question "What do you think of the upcharge" or "is it a good idea?"
