So has anyone been there? How are the crowds? Hard to tell from the Fox19 WindSeeker Camera. Someone posted on another forum post that lines for WindSeeker are 30-45 minutes.

How are the seats? I'm going to head over after work, but have to admit, the way the seats look do frighten me a little.

This was one of the best, well written articles in a while about the Son of Beast... but watch out, I can think of someone that might go crazy on this article.....

The photos were posted March 16th and March 30th, so I don't think they are part of some April Fools joke, as they weren't posted today

I've got my hopes up that the "ride enhancements" are a longer ride experience, then one spin forward, and one spin backward.

As of right now, its their 3rd most recent tweet, after tweets about dodgem and the railroad.

Thanks Cedarpointer.. I usually check their page on a regular basis... and didn't even know this pic. Although, I don't know if I consider this an "enhancement". Maybe something is taking its place?

Been there the last three years. Will have to miss this years, because I will be at Kings Dominion. Still debating if we want to go to King's Dominion's version of Spritsong.

Yes, along with free parking at all the other parks. Basically, a platinum pass is like having a gold pass to all of the Cedar Fair parks.

I would have to say, by laws of physics, that as some point in time, this thing is coasting. For lack of a better argument, while the designs and power sources are different, It is not much different than intamin's impluse twisters. They are pushed up the first twist come back down, get pushed up the second twist, so on and so forth. The only time it is coasting is coming back down just to be powered through the next twist.

Since that wouldn't account for the season passholders, I couldn't see them doing that. It's not that much, either. I'd be mad if it were $10, but looking at it now, $5 isn't really that bad. My thought on the issue is, they could easily have added 3-5 dollars to every admission ticket, whether you are thrilled about seeing Dino's are not. This way, if you want to see the Dino's, you pay 5 dollars, you hopefully enjoy it, and then you don't have to worry about paying the 5 dollars again.
