When Diamondback's wheels need replaced.. it can be very shaky.
-
^ And it will be an inverted Stand up Roller coaster
-
I am not a big rice and beans fan, so a gargantuan burrito that is mostly rice and beans with a little meat, cheese and lettuce thrown in for 7 bucks has no appeal to me at all.
-
I'll take Son of Beast over any stand up roller coaster any day.

Don't Forget DQ on Kings Island Drive!!
-
He must have done it over the phone, as on Kings Island's website, there is not an option to renew Platinum passes. If you have Gold or Regular, aye, it is an option, but for platinum, buying new is the only choice available... So new passes it is for Ms. Kingsrattler and I (and the condition of our old passes, probably not a bad thing anyway)

You would trade a large, roomy waterpark for a small cramped waterpark with less slides? Disclaimer: Referring to Carowinds, as I have not been to Great America to experience their water park

Which Roller Coaster at KI has the most unconfortable trains?
kingsrattler replied to mccarthysnerd's topic in KI Polls
^ I have not been to Holiday World yet ( yeah, I'm that lame), so thunderhead was easily the best wooden roller coaster I have ever been on, and in my top two coasters, if not my favorite coaster. It totally blew Ms. Kingsrattler and I away.. and we thought Wild Eagle was going to be the treat of the day. -
Beginning of the month, pictures should be viewable again (for how long is another question)
-
Right now, on Kings Island's Website, there is not an option for renewal, but on Cedar Point's website they advertise a savings of 5 dollars if you renew instead of buying a new platinum pass, which would put them at 164 dollars instead of 169 dollars

I have replied pretty much in the 5 seconds they post the question, and usually fall right around the tenth who post, so there really is no time to look and see what the correct answer is (until they get to whoever the 40th person who posts wins, you might have time to pull that off) On another note, I now have a Charlie Brown Alarm Clock!

Which Roller Coaster at KI has the most unconfortable trains?
kingsrattler replied to mccarthysnerd's topic in KI Polls
I can tell you a ride.. not at Kings Island, that has the most comfortable seats. It was a Thunder of an experience riding it for my first time this past weekend. -
Also remember, Invertigo got a face lift this year. Adding ERT to it may mean trying to rebadge the ride, and make Action Zone a popular spot once again.. for the future..
-
Just to put into perspective.. adjusting for inflation to today's dollars, Admission would be 32.33, compared to the 37 dollars now. Parking would be 2.31 compared to 12 dollars now. All in all, compared to what has been added since the 1974 season, the price for Kings Island has not gone up a whole lot.

You wouldn't be referring to Rocky Mountain Construction would you?
-
With more park open, not only will it open more rides, but it will allow us to be closer to other rides that open at 10. So while, for example, Firehawk is not open, with access to Action Zone, you can be closer to it.
-
I'm pretty excited that Surf Dog is on ERT
-
They must have stabilized the ground enough to keep the ride from sinking anymore, but in the process, it broke the lift chain.
-
Yes there is, Fall actually is the best time for that in my book, due to the early ride times for The Beast, which i have not seen during the summer Last year there was ERT on The Beast every day there was ERT on Diamondback (barring down time and maintenance of course) This year, what rides will be open for ERT remain to be seen, but KingsIslandPR has said they should be announced shortly.

Holiday World Timberliners

They have done a lot of re-tracking this off season though. It hopefully would be a smoother ride. -
To answer some of Medfords holes/questions- You pay for parking once, and can leave and come back.. just make sure you keep your receipt for parking if this is what you choose to do. The McDonalds has been remodeled to the "new style" McDonalds. And while its not "high end" there is an Outback just off of Kings Island Drive, and also a new DQ, Chipotle, and Jimmy Johns. Slingshot and Xtreme Flyer can range from 5-20 dollars during the day per person, but are in no way necessary to enjoy your day at Kings Island, and if you are into Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs Alive! is 5 bucks a person. All in all, tickets online (which are usually the cheapest) run around 40 bucks. If you are driving the car in your display pic, I would plan on 50-60 bucks for gas, then wherever your eating habits would leave you for food is the minimum you would spend. On the other end, well, Kings Island will let you spend as much as you want!

The Beach Closing after 27 Years

Mr. Gingrich is coming to the Beach?? -
The beauty of photography... I could take a picture of something three different times.. and the colors will probably not match up in any of them... for many factors I'm sure Gordan Bombay could explain better than I as I am only an amateur photographer

^I"m guessing you normally go with 2 people, creating 3. As going with 3 people would create a nice even number (or not nice, depending on your opinion of the number four)
