If they were to hire you Saturday, that does not mean you will be working opening day. With opening day 2 weeks and a couple odd days away, I would hope that Kings Island has 80-90 percent of the schedule figured out.

Well they have made one move (First come first serve parking) that is more in line with what Cedar Point does, why not another (eliminating the metal detectors) I wouldn't even mind if they replaced it with something like what Busch Gardens Williamsburg does, and just checks bags. Maybe have a wand for random security checks.

Looking forward to my honeymoon. Hitting up Universal, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, and on the way home, spending a night in downtown Atlanta then going to Six Flags for the day. Other than that, Cedar Point for CoasterMania, and Dollywood a couple more times this year, and Cedar Point once in the fall. Oh, and of course a handful (or two or three) of visits to Kings Island.

Alpengeist is probably my favorite B & M Invert, especially when riding in the front seat.

I'm somewhat surprised Leviathan is included at CW. From experience it seems like brand new rides are left out of these kind of things.

I'm no meteorologist, but by what I can remember from Earth Science and Ecology, they probably inversely related, as to say one didn't cause the other, but both are being caused by the same thing. The Northern Jet stream that usually sits right over Indiana/Michigan/Ohio, and fluctuates north and south that usually brings down cooler temperatures during the winter from Canada, hasn't moved south of the border much at all this year. Not only did this create the unseasonably warm temperatures this year (and the great lakes not to have any signification freezing) but has also allowed the Warm air from the Gulf of Mexico that causes a lot of these storms to penetrate deeper into the United States, causing for more and stronger storms. Like I said, I could be way off, but that's just what I remember from when we were studying weather patterns in college

Something about Milk stored at room temperature, that I will be drinking, just doesn't appeal to me. But then again, I've always liked Yoohoo.

If I had to take a guess about why DA! is an upcharge, I come two two conclusions. One, and very obviously, is revenue. With the addition of other DA! this year at different parks, I'm going to take a gander that the expansion made a killing for KI. My second conclusion is it provides a limited clientele that is paying to enjoy the experience, which creates for a more enjoyable environment, especially where large animatronic creatures are involved.

To me, it is still the smoothest coaster on the property including PS! Agreed. But I have been on a few rides where it has been shaky.

I don't think you can make a realistic judgement about how fitting the Soak City theme is at Kings Island until May 26th.
