I am going to up save up my cash and ride slingshot. It is soo expensive! but looks likie a lot of fun!

I would love a THEMED rollercoaster that is something like The Mantis at CP. That would be cool, I thought the Raptor sucked. It was a waste of my time. But I would also like something similar to wicked twister.

Mars is right because I have seen multiple episodes of shows on the travel channel about this ride. They all confirm that it cost over 100mil. to complete the attraction. The cars used in it were designed for the ride by the engineers, that type of technology was not in existence until then.

They mean the finale! for Survivor Amazon! I saw it on the news earlier today this would be a fantastic oppourtunite to promote the park, as well as its attractions! Not to mention it being plain old cool!

I would love a great Stand-up! But, if PKI builds a coaster, I want them to build it and make it a QUALITY coaster, not just something to break a record. Something like the "Incredible Hulk" would be really awesome. I would like a caoster that has some theming mixed in. Build it to please, not to break records.

Yes, I agree, really its a mistake to say that it needs to be LONGER, because it doesn't, it needs to be more INTENSE. You could easily keep it at 2:30 while making it a much more intense attraction.

I think it was just normal "NEW RIDE" breakdowns, getting the bugs worked out and running it for extended periods of time. It was just normal down time for a new ride, they all do it!

I hope it shortens TR:TR'S line! I love the ride dearly but that line can get soo stinkin long! At least there will be more to choose from this year, that will surely decrease the line on everything!

I AGREE! TR:TR will be different, it only makes sense for it to be! and a longer soundtrack would cost a bunch of money, BUT...this is Paramount! a movie company! I think they can spare a few bucks to get a new soundtrack for an amusement ride. Tomb Raider will be different, thats not the question anymore, the question now is...how will it be different?

Yes I do think the OSTR'S should be changed to the FOF lap bars. I think it can be done, and it will add a new appeal and excitment to the ride! no to mention making it alot more comfortable! I'll go for that idea!

The mountain and stars will still be there, as for me, I think it is tacky and a TRYING to be hip which completely ruined it. Keep the old symbol, its a lot classier and much better looking.

Ah yes...Jeremy...I have encountered him. I found him to be quite rude to his co-workers and the guests. He would always be in an awful mood, and be very unprofessional with his guests. I never complained though, I figured that he would be caught anyway. So I kept my mouth shut.

Does anyone know a guy that worked at Tomb Raider by the name of Chris? He's white, around 5'10, black hair always slicked back, very thin, and the nicest ....most-into-his-job person at the park by my opinion! anyone know him?

I totally agree with you, I think it would be cool to have a ride similar to "Dinosaur" at Animal Kingdom, except that it deals with The Beast and the Son of Beast. It could really be scary, but it could also be a-lot of fun. You could have the Rugrats, Lara Croft, Spong-Bob, and even the "hana-barbera" as the heroes. It would have endless possibilities as to what you could do as far as creativity, and make each ride different from the last so that you never get the exact same ride twice! It could be soo cool, and it could please rollercoaster enthusiasts with unique drops, turns, twists, excellent parts of speed, plus you could please the adventure type people with tyhe dark ride aspect to it! plus the fun of having your favorite PKI characters! ( PKI...this is another hint to you as to what you could build in the future)

I honestly do not see how they can justify not reprogramming, or at least lengtheining Tomb Raider. Its too much of a huge investment not to change it at least a little, let alone a whole lot. I don't have a doubt at all that it will be different, just how much different is the question.

I'm back, I decided to take a brief break from the site for reasons I cannot disclose. But, back to the topic ....Tomb Raider is my favorite ride in the park, overall I think it gives the most extreme thrill, best show, best story, perfection om theming, and best over-all execution. The line is never long, and it makes you feel as though you are a tomb raider. AND besides that...its just plain old FUN! It is the second LONGEST ride in the park ( 2mins 30secs.) and the biggest technological breakthrough. Even though I love it soo much, I cannot honestly say that it doesn't need some form of an ending, a much longer ride time, scarier execution, more intimidating qeue movie, and another scene to it. I think we will see most of these come to life this season, ( excluding the new scene) It was a brand new concept and form, the park just needed some time to work the bugs out so they could finish the attraction. Thats right, I am certain that the ride was not completed when it was due to be released and it could not be shut down long enough during the season in order to finish it. There is no chance the floors and ceilings would be left uncovered like that, and it is obvious that the ride room was built to house another scene. The biggest evidence of this is the fact that the TR:TR portion of the PKI.COM website still has not been completed with the ride "specs" , and will have been out for a year this April. The ride WILL CHANGE, its just WHAT will change that is the question.

This is a utterly useless topic in my opinion, there is no chance that they will be selling the park.

I am 6'2, and built like a basketball player ( ironically I do not play at all, I find the sport to be uncontrolably boring). I do not have trouble with FOF, but I do have trouble with SOB. weird huh?

I have been going since I was a little boy, but I would not ride rollercoasters or anything else. AE scared me to death at the time ( I was petrified of those things in the last tunnel). I loved The Racer though, and would ride it until I was blue in the face. But....The main thing that got me hooked was TR:TR. I loved that thing from the day I layed eyes on it! And that is what got me hooked. Kinda-of a stupid reason but its my reason and I am proud to say thats why!

DITTO! I think the should as well, that would be very cool! Another thing they might do is take all the stories and characters from the rides and turn it into something like fantasmic! that would do wonders for the park!

The "X" is a totally inventive and never before seen rollercoaster, but I keep hearing that it stinks to high heaven! Soo, I think a new coaster would be good for the park, just make sure we're not just building it for records!
