  1. 7-1 for me too. I love 7-1 and always ride in this row. I will do 1-1 from time to time. And I can't stand the back seats of arrow loopers, no leg room what so ever.
  2. I like going up the lift backwards first, I like the hang time.
  3. I would definitely say DB and The Beast. I like on DB when they say on the mic, "enjoy going up and down through rivertown"...They even said once, "don't forget to say hi to The Crypt" It was funny.
  4. I prefer going to a real Skyline, not only that it taste better, but looks better, and you get more for you buck...
  5. Which picture is the one with the dude breaking the rule? When you click on the link it just brings up all your pics? Am I missing something?
  6. I've been out of the country, I've been to Canada's Wonderland.
  7. Yes I also recall it being an easy night to close. And your right, the park was spotless.
  8. I have been thinking about going this year. I worked Pride Night from 1999 thru 2001, and visited as a guest in 2002. Haven't been back to a Pride Night since 02. So it's time I go back, as the money does go to a good cause. I'm hoping I can get someone to join me.
  9. WWC hasn't had the Velcro style seat belts for quite a few years. It has a standered belt now, however the part of the belt that the buckle is attached to is stretchy.
  10. Ummm that isn't The Bat, that is for sure The Vortex. Notice Flight Commander is in that pic. And yes The Racer used to have another dip before you would hit the break. The former forwards side was the first side to see the change in 1996, then the former backwards side saw the change in 1997.
  11. They used to be trims at the top of the second hill dropping down into the rose bowl. But not sure if those new trains could handle that or not.
  12. We referred to Coney Mall as Old Coney. When I worked at the park not sure why though.
  13. Beleive it or not, seat belts on roller coasters is something that just popped up in the last 10 to 15 years. None of KI's coaster use to have seat belts. Face/Off was the first coaster to have a seat belt at KI. I remember riding The Beast, Racer, Vortex, Flight Deck etc... without seat belts, I was never worried.
  14. I thought you were going to say Tomas the Tank to take over KI in 2010 to replace Nick u. hahahaha!
  15. The roughest part of SOB has always been the rose bowl. I have always wondered what they could do to make this part of the ride better? Any ideas?
  16. And the FoF's where designed to run up to 4 trains.
  17. FoF at Kings Island has only ran trim less for like 1 or 2 seasons. But It does seem kinda of silly to stop the train completely in the block.
  18. Ummm what's jk?
  19. Yes 2003 is correct. 7th Portal only ran for 2 seasons. 2001 and 2002. The Shortest lived Major ride film the ride had.
  20. Yeah and as of Tuesday they aren't even running Spongebob in 3d. I think it's days are numbered. But I guess the theather is 15 years old. How crazy is that?
  21. Yes this what played in Action Theater during the 2001 and 2002 seasons. I was apart of the crew in 2001.
  22. I can confirm that both sides of Racer were open on Tuesday when I first arrived at the park around 4pm. However later in the day around 8ish only the Red Racer was open, and yes the line was all the way back to the entrance . Longest I have seen The Racer line in a long time.
  23. WOW I was at The Point as well on Sunday, July 5th. And I was also told that the crowds was going to be insane, but I was glad they weren't.
  24. 7-1 for me. But I should try 5-1 just to see the difference. But I've been riding in 7-1 for years on end.
