  1. I think the sequence of letters I used was too subtle for anyone not already inside my head. Maybe I'll try something softer next time...
  2. I'd add that a giga at Carowinds could have the ability to create more guests than one at KI, as people in the Carolinas don't seem to already visit their amusement park as much compared those near Kings Island. CF mentioned something about wanting to bring CaWi up to the level of the top tier of their portfolio.
  3. Looks like they have split numbers for total market and major market or whatever. If that info was there earlier, then it seems my eyes didn't want to read it.
  4. I'd suggest waiting until they adjust the app. The website hasn't listed a rating, and it will probably be a 3, even if the ride is a weak replication.
  5. "Total market area" Kings Island= 15 Million (CP=15 Milli) Caro= 14 Million KDomi=12 Million CanWo=9 Million http://ir.cedarfair.com/who-we-are/our-properties/default.aspx
  6. I know it's the off-season when I'm considering visiting C-Winds during early fourth-month because of this. :/
  7. Of the listed, I've visited all but the first two alphabetically ordered (both forwards and in reverse lettering). Somehow, despite not having the most favorite Cedar Fair version of: wood coaster, steel coaster or flat ride,, Kings Island is still my vote.
  8. There are other alternatives in use- Carowinds has a 'Closed today' listing. Kings Island and others just have that spot empty.
  9. Do they have your sandwich at Camden Park? // Try the steak and cheese place near Diamondback if you haven't.
  10. I think the page with the ride counts is showing all rides entering the 2014 season. It mentions the order is listed based on which had the most rides entering 2013; possibly they forgot to change it, or maybe they just wanted to keep it that way? Vortex is probably that 40,649,743 plus another million or so for this year.
  11. I keep track of my ride count, not really to keep a tally, but instead so that I am aware of what I haven't ridden. Clinical lycanthropy aside, I will consider this a ride not ridden. (I have already been on Mantis.) ////// And would they also consider the track between the Flight of Fear station unload and the loading area a second credit?
  12. Here is one from Kings Island: "into a rockign boat" from the Congo Falls page
  13. What do they do after the park closes, at what is it, 7pm?
  14. : http://flyingeagles.anything80s.com/KingsIsland%92s-FlyingEagles.pdf
  15. That's what I think makes the ride so fun! (The upward flinging, not necessarily the hurting aspect.)
  16. I don't say Mean Streak is rough. Possibly banal, dull, lackluster, prosaic, insipid... I consider it the Goofus to the Gallant that is Blue Streak. Maybe you just don't like airtime? What you you consider Kings Island's Racer?
  17. The video shows that it is a single track, using the left side of the lift hill about halfway through the ride. If they really wanted to time things right, they could possibly do an, umm, 'reverse stack'. (Kinda like how TTD or Maverick send a train ahead of the station but not advancing up the hill.) Even if they take an extra minute to load the train, the computers can figure out the rest.
  18. Well, it is a mall. (Not a shopping center, but one of the other definitions) It sounds better than Coney Esplanade or Coney Pedestrian Walkway. (edit - jgoble's post wasn't there when I started to post..)
  19. Yet visitors from 39 states kicked a soccer ball into the fountain. (No word given on visitors from other countries, districts, or other non-Ohio location.) How likely is it that a local picnic and rides park would spend around half a billion nickels on a big steel thingy?
  20. With a few provisos, and a couple quid pro quos...
  21. On the dining plan location page, the section for Festhaus mentions a 'German Sausage Platter & Sauerkraut'. Perhaps my aloofness caused me to not realize that such a thing exists, but isn't that not currently offered?
  22. Just so I can have a point of reference, have you ever been on the Carowinds/Kings Island/Coney Island (or any other properly run Bisch-Rocco) Flying Skooters?
  23. From about a year ago; I doubt it looks different now... The legend lives on, from the Chippewa on down, of the big lake.................
  24. I think somehow part of the Skyrush release is inside of that statement.
