I think this is a great thing. I remember sweeping outside front gate and hearing all those dogs bark and imagining them freaking out every time Invertigo cycles. I remember feeling bad for the dogs and wished that the pet care center would be moved to somewhere less noisy.

I listen to pretty much everything. For instance, last night I was watching this old movie I got from when I was little and there was some great Mannheim Steamroller instrumental pieces that I looked up on iTunes immediately after seeing the movie (for those interested, the movie was called "Secrets at the Zoo", a 1991 tour of the Cincinnati Zoo with 2 newscasters and Thane Maynard). On the way to work this morning, I was rockin' to some '90s pop and rock tunes from a Now CD. During my shifts, I listened to some For King and Country, AA Arrowhead (a band one of my friends was in at one time), Linkin Park (Meteora), Counting Crows, more 90's pop/rock and even some remixed TobyMac songs! So, as you can see, my music tastes vary and I'll pretty much listen to anything except most country. My favorite band is Thousand Foot Krutch and I was so excited when they came to SpiritSong this past summer as I was working the concert that day. I've met them once and have seen them in concert 4 times (twice at Kings Island and twice at The Underground).

I just noticed that Kentucky Kingdom updated their website a bit with animations or pictures of the 2015 additions to the park on the bottom of the page as well as links that goes to their rides page. Check it out here: http://www.kentuckykingdom.com/

I love LaRosa's Pizza, both inside and outside of the park. I've never tried Six Flags pizza. Honestly, I've only had two "meh" foods at theme parks: the pulled pork sandwich at Kentucky Kingdom, and for the second one, let's just say KI's ice cream has greatly improved since 6-8 years ago (seriously, the vanilla ice cream is now super amazing!).

Funny, I didn't have this problem when I looked up directions to Kings Dominion on MapQuest... -MDMC, who uses Google Maps (mostly on his phone) but has an Mapquest account...

Did you pay by credit? I've seen more and more places around where I live start to ask for zip code when you pay with credit, regardless of the amount. I agree with Aaron, I don't know how you can accurately tell where the visitors come from. I paid with my debit card.

I know they (the person that I bought my ticket from at the gate) asked my zip code when I went to Dollywood a few years ago, but I don't recall this happening when I went to Kentucky Kingdom last year.

Good stuff. I think the ride with sails might be Gulliver's Rub-A-Dub.

I don't mind Diamondback's seating arrangement (in fact, when interviewed about the ride for my high school newspaper, I stated that I was most excited about the "wing seats"), but I would love it if they cars were modified into a 4-seater arrangement because this arrangement is what B&M first used back in the '90s.The new seating arrangement might take some getting used to, but I think I would love it if it happened!

If Cedar Point does end up getting a Dive Coaster, maybe the selling point could be a world record in a sub-category such as world's longest/tallest Dive Coaster or most inversions on a Dive Coaster. Maybe it could even contain a first-of-its-kind inversion! -MDMC, who has never been on a Dive Coaster, but hopes to get to the old country this summer...

Very true. I remember loving Disaster Transport while one of my friends specifically called it "mediocre". At the same time, I'm not a huge fan of Diamondback, but I've talked to some who love it even more than Banshee.

Looking through some of the old Kings Island maps, I find I quite like the 1999 and 2004 maps.

On a more positive note, I was looking at their Twitter page and noticed that they've recently been posting more content. Also, their lastest picture iuses the hashtag #KingdomSeven. If I were to rename/re-theme Banshee, I'd name it High Voltage. High Voltage is an old Linkin Park song that came out around the turn of the millennium and I think a new-millennium theme (think Millennium Force's theming mixed with the rap-rock stylings of the time) would be a great throwback theme as Action Zone originally opened in 1999. As for the track colors, Gray track with Neon Green supports would look awesome.

Good stuff, Ryan! I would have probably added KI participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but that was more of a person/organization-wide phenomenon than solely a Kings Island event.

A bridge across the fountains would be really nice, but I also think it might ruin the classic look of the fountains. However, I suppose it could work if it's done right.

Quaker Stake is great and I highly recommend it! I used to go a lot with the college youth group at my church; good times!

I'd definitely have to say The Beast. It's a legendary ride, and a great ride that really put the park on map (well, The Racer did that a few years prior, but still...). It's managed to keep its status as the longest wooden roller coaster for all these years and is an all-around fantastic ride. Long live The Beast!

I thought about thread earlier tonight after drying my hands after seeing Part 1 of Mockingjay. After washing my hands, there was an Xcelerator dryer that I started to use and I thought "ohhhh..." (the bad kind of "oh") and then looked for some paper towels, for which there was none.
