If there is no comparison between Cedar Point and Kings Island, why do you continue to compare the two?

How often do you visit Kings Island and Cedar Point? You act as if Cedar Point ride ops never stack and Kings Island consistently does.

According to that line of argument, shouldn't Flight of Fear have an amazing capacity because of its separate load/unload stations?

Millennium Force has worse capacity than B&M rides because of the lack of a mid course brake run. It can only run one train at the time versus Diamondback which can run two trains. It may dampen the thrill [slightly] but it gets you through the line faster.

But there has been no development away from the midways.

If you are referring to me, then you are jumping to conclusions by assuming I believe this is Kings Island's track. Just because I posted after you doesn't mean you were the one I was referring to.Now you're jumping to conclusions!

We don't know for sure if the track is for Kings Island or not. Talk about jumping to conclusions.

The Eiffel Tower, Viking Fury, White Water Canyon, Drop Tower, and Congo Falls I believe are the only rides at Kings Island built by Intamin.

Effects? Soundtrack? Where do you think this new attraction is going - Disney? We should remove all lights and soundtracks from Adventure Express and Flight of Fear while we're at it.The park is not Disney, but management does make an effort to maintain what they already have. Would lights on the trains similar to Gatekeeper really be out of the question? Is a lighting package really too much to ask?

I talked to a man who defined himself as a "real coaster nut" this afternoon in line for Flight of Fear. Apparently, Flight of Fear used to go 70 mph, but someone got hurt in the first season and the park reduced the launch speed to "45 or something like that." On the charter bus to Kings Island for our school trip today, I overheard a guy with a huge ego saying "Yeah on Mountain Space at Disney World it's pitch black and you go like 75 miles an hour. Then there's this Space Mission thing at Epcot..."

^Funny. I heard Zephyr is the best ride in Coney Mall today. Today I heard a lot of jokes from ride ops. "Did you hear about the circus fight? It was in tents." "Where does a cookie sleep? On a baking sheet!" "What did the nosy pepper do? Get jalapeño business!" The whole park seemed to be in a good mood today. Friendly staff everywhere, whether it be ride ops, sweeps, security, or food employees.

Oblivion is scary? Give me a break.

You mean three opened THIS year.

Have you taken a spin on Leviathan or Intimidator 305, Big Sexy? Both have been home runs in their respective parks, and both are far from "forceless" and a "waste of money."

Dive Coasters typically have a wider track to help support the wider trains. It is safe to assume this is neither Wing Coaster nor Dive Coaster track.

If you're here to appraise Cedar Point, you're on the wrong site.

As a former journalist. If you cant show your sources, then it cant be believed. Covering your source, for legal reasons is one thing. But that usually does not carry any weight. When a source is named, then its believable. Plus a source that leaks info is either not a good source or is trying to gain something. I do not want to get my source fired. I think that is a good reason to not disclose.Then he shouldn't have told you in the first place. It was irresponsible for him to tell you and it is irresponsible for you to be leaking the information onto the Internet.
