I am not a fanboy by any means, they just make my favorite rides. I would love to have one but I can most definitely see their downsides too.

While you are correct on that, if you polled what their favorite rides are at CP or a park with either an RMC, Intamin, or both I would almost guarantee one of those companies made the majority of those polled favorites.

I know I am besting a dead horse but the water smells and the chain grease smells are heavenly. Scents are so heavily rooted in memories and I have such lovely memories tied to those smells. I would definitely buy those candles!

I like the idea. I could see it being a cool event, the only issue is Rivertown always alrrady seems so very crowded and bottle necked.

I agree with everything said about AZ except getting rid of The Bat. It is great for youngsters not quite ready to tackle the big boys, and it is still a very fun ride. Arrow suspended coasters are dwindling, and The Bat is by far the best of them that I have ever been on. It could also definitely fit into a spooky german village theme quite nicely.

I was young, so it didn't beat me up that bad. I loved it. It was definitely rough but I loved how out of control it felt and the structure itself was beyond intimidating. The first drop and the loop were definite highlights. The loud clink of the lift hill added to the atmosphere a lot too. That said, I understand why it had to go.

As a non smoker I can't for the life of me understand how removing smoking areas made the parks safer. I also do not understand discriminating against a segment of KI's paying customers. It is certainly not my hill to die on but it seems silly.

Sign me the heck up! It is a pipe dream for sure, but what a beautiful dream it is. Also, Brent that came off a little condescending. This is just a bunch of enthusiasts saying what they want, it is fine to think big. If i took it the wrong way, i apologize. It is hard to tell with just text to go by.

People could, for example, fly to these places instead. Cruise ships are some of the absolute worst things for the environment. That is not to mention their massive tax avoidance by exploiting other countries as tax havens. I am also a bit more of an adventurous traveler, so the cookie cutter experience of cruises don't appeal to me. I won't go on a political rant since this isn't the place for it, but as someone who has scuba dived all around the world, seeing the damage done to the coral and sea life is devastating. I am now off my soap box, sorry. : )

I don't have anything helpful to add, but I do want to say that you sound like an amazing brother. I am terribly sorry that your family is going through this, but I am glad that you get the chance to make memories that will last your entire life. I highly recommend documenting it with pictures, whether they are purchased from KI or just taken by yourself.

Bringing back Phantom Theater, KCKC, or a boat ride replacing BB would be absolutely amazing. A return of the tunnel by Vortex's old plot would be great too.

I would kill for a non-interactive, story telling, practical effect dark ride at KI. I would also be thrilled with a thrill ride with theming and effects on par with Tomb Raider (or The Mummy). Sadly, I have realized this is likely never happening.

I am just as excited for this as Iron Gwazi. Pantheon is no slouch either. Let's wait until we actually ride them before we go crowning them though. That said, I really hope these coasters put Intamin back on the map in the US.

While I do tend to agree modern B&M's lack intensity, Banshee is the exception. I have greyed out on Banshee many times.

Craft beer and food trucks? Yea, I think I just may like that kind of event.

But can be buit as high and go as fast ad the parks wanna build rhem for a fraction of the intamin costs. Breaking 500ft is pretty incredible. Edit: never thought I would say this but I would kill for a new Vekoma too.
