Now on the subject of flip flops on DB..I'm honestly surprised that those are required to ride DB, the only reasoning I can think is in the event of an evac, hard soled shoes are almost a needed item on those stairs. However rides like raptor, and Gatekeeper, they are not necessary, but yet have the same principles Very confused

Well considering someone on Maverick was hit in the face with a rubber super bouncy ball and caused a subconjunctival hemorrhage--broken blood vessel, and gave him basically a black eye... I don't know if I want to know what happens with a flip flop... This is why I don't like loose articles on rides, especially cameras, and especially on corkscrew. Doing the math it turns a small point and shoot camera into a cinder block

The fencing right in front of it that you peer into is able to move and get out of the way. The biggest thing with the evac, is it is a very slow evac

I was somewhat hoping to see Terp and a few others that aren't on the original RSVP list there but haven't seen them chime in...I've enjoyed all of my discussions on here with all of you and some in person or in PM's/Off the record, ect.. I will say it's going to be quite saddening to only have this as a connection to all of you here once the later bit of the off season hits... Y'all better marathon the hell out of Flight Deck for me

It could be testing phase or it could be malfunction, without a visual of the whole phase I couldn't tell you The problem initially opening was 1. The build, as I said, it was a trial and error build. 2. The dampeners did not truly prevent the arms from getting extremely close (see how many times those have been edited on this ride alone) Sorry quick edit...Testing phase as in pre opening daily, or testing before general public opening If my correction stands before general public opening for first time yes the stops were done by them, as our WindSeeker did that quite frequently to test e-stops, ect. to get certified...Now were some of those malfunctions...eh I doubt, but it is completely possible, but I know they did e-stop drills with it, because at one point of of my maint. guys told me they had to sand down where the brakes engaged because it practically got fused to that spot.

We were supposed to stop them, but see above examples... Comon you have to admit it'd be a good laugh

We ask that they walk...but you and I both know it never works.. Sometimes I find it amusing, you see four types of running, especially during my time at Monster/Witches wheel 1. The crazed enthusiast running to a coaster screaming and more excited than a kid on Christmas Day 2. The families running dragging their kids across the concrete to use that precious ERT 3. The ones trying to run (most hilarious) 4. Speedwalkers because they know they can't run I loved them running through, I've had my fun with ERT people. 1. At magnum at the overpass from the station drop off, we threw glitter on them while playing Kesha 2. Rick rolled everyone going to Dragster at Corkscrew station 3. Yelling at them to go faster and faster over at Monster, high knees, go.. Ah best summer ever, not a care was given honestly...

The biggest thing I want out of KI is ERT to let you roam wherever during ERT. It's a great perk to be able to stand in the first group of people for a ride right at ten. Last time we went we did our rides, and then waited to marathon power tower after God Bless America went off, it was brilliant However at KI, you're herded on a typical path and only allowed so far before again you have another racing of the bulls as the barriers are dropped. Not a fan of the setup and honestly don't know why they have it setup this way. How great would it be to wait at 10 to ride Firehawk before the lines hit, or wait for Vortex to be on that first ride right at 10, ect...just don't get it...

ERT @ CP is worth it, you just need to know the most effective way to work the system, which I never will reveal because then that system is compromised... Insider knowledge, brilliant

No more season pass for two to four years

I really haven't ridden Vortex as much as normal this season I've been moreover getting my fix elsewhere so I can't say, my main visits were early in the season, last time being KIC day

I wouldnt either however seeing that hung and all of the motors already even the motor that moves the transfer table I'm surprised I will say I can't wait to see trains sit on that ride
