Chicken Shack resembles Raising Caines more, including the look of the bread & whatnot. I will say though technically Zaxby's is the first being founded in 1990 and Raising Caines in 1996.

Giant noodle at the park this weekend
thedevariouseffect replied to jcgoble3's topic in Kings Island
Beat me to it by seconds lol And I somewhat agree, guess the park has picked up outside marketing & whatnot like SIX parks are now I don't think the park paid for it, I think Kraft paid for it and to put it inside of the park for the weekend.- 99 replies

^They are..the bread at Chicken Shack is an exact copy basically. Sauce basically right there. Taken directly from Raising Caines website.. Stuff looks pretty similar to me

Sigh..this is why four full days of training on major coasters, especially new ones where everyone is new is not enough time. If ANY of my ride op ranting is considered, at least look at the training policies at CP, they have them for a reason and they work very well clearly.

End of Epic Roller Coaster

That's the point, one last thrill and bit of excitement to end your life with. By I believe it was the second or third loop you will fade out and you will be brain dead via hypoxia -

End of happy life, end stage disease processes, terminal illness, death of loved ones/everyone around them, etc. Euthanasia is actually surprisingly a wanted thing for many older people. There are even companies in other countries dedicated to helping these people achieve that wish of a peaceful death. -

Best Day to Kings Island and/or Cedar Point

Figured I'd give you the best channel of information, all of that is true. Crowd prediction is darn near impossible. There have been beautiful days in the beginning of the season that I was surprised it was dead empty, I mean practically every ride was sending almost full empties. Then some days where the park was packedfor no reason like a random Monday, just hella packed, no sense at all. Only day I will habitually tell you to avoid the park is Columbus Day, worst day of the year, every year, for like ever. -

I'm sure some limits are being approached and the body can only tolerate so much, and the average person can only tolerate even less. Right now I see rides coming up with ingenious ways to push the envelope and offer new things and bring new thrills and excitement. Think for years how drop rides have just been pick you up, drop you down, same thing different height, restraint, thats about it. Then comes Falcon Fury, where the ride tilts you down and lets you plummet straight down. New, ingenious, and great thrills. Look at water rides like Proslide making great new attractions and now water coasters. Then Verruct over in Kansas City, pushing the boundaries of Mega Coasters. There are limits, but there is always ingenuity as well regarding the future. -
Have yet to ride it's replacement, but I loved Big Bad Wolf

Maverick is fun for people who like getting thrown around on a coaster with airtime and inversions everywhere, that's what makes the ride being honest. Still my favorite coaster.. And you had to bring up Big Bad Wolf..GRRRRR

The Beast is a great classic ride, and it does have many thrilling elements. I will agree in this day and age with new rides we are able to overcome the boundaries and limitations experienced 35 years ago. The beauty in the ride is it's classic way of executing timeless thrills and a very rare and incredible helix that is the true highlight of the ride. Being jaded also doesn't help, as for instance to me a few rides are just ridden by me because I enjoy them and for nostalgia. When you repeatedly do something constantly, it does lose it's value a bit. I remember by the end of the season I was just content walking around, wheras right now I'm trying to get on everything as soon as I can. Repition does breed content.

I've heard the ride is down for mechanical reasons currently, and maint. is working on the issue, whatever it may be. Just what I'm hearing, not exactly positive. I at first heard the ride wasn't certified for '14, and I forgot to check controls for the '14 sticker on it, but that can be checked this week.

Kings Island Opening Weekend 2014
thedevariouseffect replied to thedevariouseffect's topic in Trip Reports
Didn't I just talk about that in my trip report.. Grr..two hours of typing and inserting pics for nothing I guess >_< -
^^I have to disagree.. Running 9 ride ops/supervisors on platform to cycle a train and a gold tag in controls, I can't abide by that..Just..wow. Gatekeeper opening day, ride sent trains perfectly no issues, three hour wait all day till she went down for weather. And in regards to Fast Lane Plus, sending 30+ people into the station clearing out the FL+ queue before touching the regular line is a bit ridiculous, AND during ERT. Just..wow

Some of those installations added alot bigger things. Plus just 24 for Banshee didn't add up to all the improvements in the park this year. That FUN TV I bet was a very pretty penny on the accounting books. -
