Terp, I'll give you the lightning part. BUT I do believe Thunder Run opened prior to Lightning Racer and I think Kentucky Kingdom was going for something to contrast the Thunder.

Money and AC are not a top priority but I feel like I would quickly become bored as it would get repetitive sweeping up people's trash. I also know I like my other job but would be willing to give it up if I was in the department I signed up for I am in contact with my new manager and I'll update you all if anything changes.

Just got an email that I was hired, BUT it is in a department that is less than desirable and I did not sign up for with the manager of the department I did sign up for. Maybe there was a typo but if not I do not plan to be sweeping trash in hot weather. Definitly not what I had in mind. I'll contact the guy and talk to him but if indeed the email was correct idk if I can accept the offer especially when I have another summer job that is guaranteed, inside with A/C and pays more. I just hope this guy will reason with me.

Only thing is, ours would be a lot smaller than the above circle. Doesn't mean it can't look good though. Where is mrs. Mumford when you need her? I hear she is quite the gardener and could probably tell if that is what it appears is going on.

^^ you think so? I prefer the mysterious spotlights currently in that building. I just hope they don't put anything in the former circle that blocks most of it off, the traffic would be unimaginable.

Agreed on Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror, I had high expectations of it from hearing the reviews of its first reincarnation, when I went through it however, it became one continuous line with no space in between groups, I enjoyed going in the big white box more than the maze itself.

What Kentucky Kingdom said there was that they will email us with a decision but they had no approximate time frame. My interview was in January and haven't heard anything from them since then. But If it's meant to be it will happen I guess. EDIT: due to the likelihood of this being the next reply ill do it first "watch what they do, not what they say."

Not griping, just feeling a bit anxious. Seeing another poster on here go to interview with Kings Island today and coming back hours later with a decision just made me wish. I think it is likely they will hire me but the wait is just almost killing me.

This park has still left me waiting as to a hiring decision. As far as I know people were still being interviewed as of two weeks ago, it seems like I have been waiting forever for their decision, I wish they were like Kings Island and told you on the spot if you were hired or not.

I could be wrong but within the past 3 or so years I could have sworn there was a chain inside the anti rollback, but it didnt look like it was on a motor it just seemed to be laying in between the anti rollback as if the train were stuck possibly moving the chain onto moto would be a possibility.

Ok guys sorry for being late but I had TONS of make-up work from going on this trip, so here are some of the scenic pictures so I can get some photos up, I have more but i'll wait a few days to post those. This place has a beautiful backdrop in every direction, all of these photos are on the slopes and the slope guide picture in here is my favorite one(I am sure you all can guess which of the three on the list). If anyone on here Ski's/Snowboard's, i would HIGHLY reccommend going to Aspen Snowmass, it was so large and never got boring or bland and unlike Vail does not have extremely long lines. With 94 Trails this place will be difficult to get bored of.

I am currently on day 3 of 4 of my trip at Snowmass resort. It has been a lot of fun and the views are just amazing, even if this doesn't pertain to amusement parks I'm sure some of you would like to see the amazing views this place has to offer I'll upload pics once I get home and i apologize if this belongs in off topic and if it does please move it mods. I am very excited to share this wonderful experience once I get back you all can expect pictures as early as Tuesday.

Those cannons can be a money maker, especially on busy days, plus it's only a quarter per shot. Plus, if they made them free, I can see kids or random people standing there all day hogging them, making you miss the oppourtunity to blast your friends.

You could probably do it without trying. It plays as soon as gates open until the floor drops. Giving you plenty of time to take it in. Haha

The Shuttle Loops IMO are way worse than Invertigo. When those breaks open or close it's like a gunshot almost.

I could be wrong, but I believe they have only done work on the track as far as new paint so far, prep work may have happened on supports.
