  1. Haha I hate it yet love it when people on here find loop holes in what you say.
  2. Ok, my brain hurts right now from reading the last page worth of posts. Either something big is going on right now at the park (track or supports being delivered), or HTCO is just trying to see how many enthusiasts he can get to go up Eiffel Tower tomorrow morning. Is there anyone who can ABSOLUTELY CONFIRM part of the parking lot is closed off?
  3. In case anyone was wondering, Iron Rattler has been shut down indefinitely.
  4. Can you say what you saw? It's times like this when I wish I lived by KI.
  5. ^^Did you see something cool or interesting?
  6. Is it that good? Guess I'll have to go to Darien sometime.
  7. That woody sounds really interesting...I'd assume this latest masterpiece would be from RMC? As long as the company doesn't get involved with any lawsuits with the Texas Giant accident, I hope Cedar Fair hops on the RMC wagon. I know it's still way too early to speculate this, but wouldn't it be great to get a RMC at Cedar Point? And I agree, a wing over on a wooden coaster could turn out pretty cool. If this coaster turns out to be real, it might actually make me want to go to Darien Lake to ride it.
  8. I believe that the relationship between Cedar Fair and Intamin soured a while ago...but the final straw was with StR. Things had already gone bad before this incident, and I can only imagine how this incident has deepened the conflicts even more. I've seen it said and I've even said it myself: Don't expect another Intamin at a Cedar Fair park any time soon. Sorry, YoungStud.
  9. ^The Beast? It's wooden, has speed and airtime, and is sitting and non looping. And it used to have a son... Am I right?
  10. Awesome trip! I've always wanted to go to Italy. Every spring break my high school offers an international trip to a different country. Next year's trip will be to Italy, but it's too expensive for me to go. Glad you had fun!
  11. Currently on a Samsung Galaxy tablet. Way better than an iPad, IMO.
  12. Then it's his own loss. He doesn't know what he's missing.
  13. It's an amazing park with an awesome ride lineup. Be sure to get there sometime--you won't regret it!
  14. Once again, you don't know what a dark ride is. Revenge of the Mummy is a dark ride. I have been to orlando to expierence what those parks had to offer and was umimpressed. Give me busch gardens Tampa anyday over those. Seriously? Be honest, did you go on Forbidden Journey, Mummy, or Spiderman? Those rides are awesome, and are just plain cool for any age. They're the most innovative, purely ingenious rides I've ever been on.
  15. Awesome video! ^And if SS wouldn't have been removed, it also would have been very cramped near GK. Plus there wouldn't be that shaded plaza area outside the Coke Freestyle and Frozen Yogurt place. Yes, it was a Cedar Point icon, but sometimes things must be removed for the better, as heard in the video.
  16. Ever been on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Universal?
  17. ^Then it sounds like you'd better get to Cedar Point!
  18. Yeah, that's for sure! I definitely agree with ENFJ, but I think combining it along with ENTP would be my personality on a dime.
  19. 1. Steel/Hybrid 2. Airtime 3. This is a tough one for me, but I have to go with speed. 4. Both 5. Giga
  20. I'm an ISTP. There was actually a thread on the Myers-Briggs personality types on here back in 2010. You can see it here: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/23030-personality-test/ Since some people have shared their results here, I will too. I'm an ENFJ "Pedagogue: Outstanding leader of groups. Can be aggressive at helping others be the best that they can be. 5% of the total population." That sounds pretty good. However after reading some of the other options, I'd sort of consider myself to be more of an ENTP "Inventor: Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 5% of the total population." Interesting.
  21. That sounds fun. Last year's PB offseason tour was my 1st. I'm sure you heard about it (maybe you went) but we got to see the construction of Gatekeeper. I wonder what this year's will be. I love stuff like this.
  22. I went on it the year it opened. It was boring, slow, and I only got wet when someone activated one of those water canons. Bring back a traditional log flume and replace STR with it. I forget where I saw it, but not too long ago someone had a really good idea. If they were CEO they would have left White Water landing where it was, and then would have built Maverick in the location where STR is now. I wish that's the way things actually turned out, but oh well.
  23. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved with this accident along with the one on New Texas Giant. Things like this are so sad to hear about, especially when they occur almost at the same time.
  24. Yeah, I didn't really think about that.
