However, nobody can explain the cutting of healthy trees by The Beast.
-
-
That’s strange. However the video showed the clearing by Beast as well as the site where the horizontal construction was.
-
Here’s a video of both clearing by Beast, and topographical alterations in old Dino attraction. CF419990-1913-464D-A528-8F8E4FF73A6E.MOV

Which is horizontal construction.
-
Yes, but there’s also green survey markers on all the trees nearby indicating the placement of new sewer lines around the park. Given the drainage pipes seen by Beast, all the projects could be linked.

Here’s an update: https://t.co/z3pbHHnGZr

So there is construction by Dinosaur’s Alive: https://coaster-nation.com/clearingatdinosaurs/

Narrator: “A year passed. Winter changed into Spring. Spring changed into Summer. Summer changed back into Winter. And Winter gave Spring and Summer a miss and went straight on into Autumn.” Honestly, it looks like KI has kept some of its Winterfest props in place. When will the park confirm the 2018 version of it?

A lot. Some by Racer, Firehawk and Beast areas.
-
Uh, finally, someone is reporting clearing of land! I saw from the smoking area, and grading is occurring.
-
There’s trees down. They look like excavator pushed or pulled them. Plus, utility lines still on site for Dino Store.
-
Ride the Skywarp. Jk For me, ride the Slingshot.
-
Yeah it had a rollback. It was really interesting, from an engineering standpoint to watch.
-
None. There’s no work going on at all.
-
However, it will only operate for 6 weeks.

I wonder how they’ll deal with the closure with the heavy spring break traffic. -
Partial Roof Failure at Kalahari

Yep, the waterpark did close. There’s necking seen in the remaining supports still on the roof. That’s clear evidence of a deformation. -
Partial Roof Failure at Kalahari

However, it is unknown if the roof had a deformation causing the supporting straps to fail, or if the supports failed on their own. -
Today, there was a failure in the roof at Kalahari, resulting in 2 HVAC lines falling into the pool. It seems like the supports may have suffered from deformation before they yielded, as there is necking in the support in the center of the photo.

Could Flying Ace be updated to be like Freedom Flyer?
gforce1994 replied to gforce1994's topic in Kings Island
However, one can do it for the last three rows. They do that at Fun Spot and still get trains dispatched at a rate equivalent to Flying Ace. The slower the ride, the better the VR effects are. -
I recently rode Freedom Flyer, a Vekoma jr invert, just like Flying Ace. I was curicurious if Flying Ace could be renovated to include second generation trains along with VR option.

you're not riding coasters.
