  1. I watched the video of the Enchanted Voyage, I wish I could of rode it, looked like a nice family ride. There were some cartoons in that ride that I haven't even heard of before.
  2. Phantom Theater most definitely, an instant classic ride,. I believe it left the longest mark in Kings Island history because I know a lot of people want it back, and a lot of people talk about on here, and a lot of people were dissapointed when it was removed. So my answer is Phantom Theater.
  3. I find this funny, because it's nearly 2016 and SpongeBob is still extremely popular. I wonder what will happen in 2017? I think it would be neat if they made a new Peanuts TV show that aired on one of the major kids networks. That would be possibly the best thing Cedar Fair could hope for! If kids saw Snoopy on their TV every week I'm sure it would spur further interest in the parks. I haven't seen the movie yet but I'm excited to see if the movie affects next year's attendance numbers. It probably will considering The Peanuts Movie did quite well in the box office. I'm sure eventually The Peanuts will get a reboot television show.
  4. Being 8 years since this post started, and in 2010 when Scooby Doo was completely removed from Kings Island, I really do miss him since I grew up with him being there. But Kings Island has been doing great since Cedar Fair has taken ownership, and they do good with keeping up with the Peanuts theming. Who knows, maybe in the (not-near) future we might see Scooby and the gang return.
  5. Does anybody know where I can find a commercial with Dick Van Dyke for Kings Island, I can only find videos of him for Kings Dominion, like this one for example, Does anybody know where the ones for Kings Island are?
  6. When you watch a POV video of The Beast while trying to simulate the ride.
  7. What's actually funny about that, whenever we go to Kings Island in Ohio we pass Kings Auto Mall, which my little sister said "Look there's Kings Island!" The tall sign had fooled her.
  8. The return of The Beast foot prints would be nice, I haven't seen those in a LONG time.
  9. Though Back To The Future: The Ride may not exist in Universal Studios in America, I think they should make a store similar to the 80's Store at Kings Island. The theming would be from Back To The Future: Part 2 https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/25/04/bb/2504bb103f95d72c0e5fe54232c8ec5d.jpg Or they can make a Café 80's which would be very interesting if they made it. https://cultfaction.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/btf-2.jpg What do you think of this idea?
  10. Thanks for sharing your pictures, it brings me back a lot of memories of when I was younger. I really wish that my parents had taken more pictures during the Paramount years, I used to love Scooby's Ghoster Coaster, but I don't remember the ride too well. I also used to like the Pixie and Dixie Swings, and I liked the Flintstones Boulder Bumpers until the point where I was too tall to ride it. A lot of memories have taken place at Kings Island and for many years to come.
  11. It looks great so far, I do too hope that they are planning to paint more than just the entrance.
  12. http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/news/archives/2002/stories/img/pki_072402_scooby_art.jpg This was promoting Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle in 2003, if anybody remembers it.
  13. I've heard people ask workers about the Eiffel Tower "Is this a ride?"
  14. Home Alone is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies of all time, that and A Christmas Story, also I enjoy the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Last year, I believe KISS made an appearance.
  15. Watching the Thanksgiving Parade, eating turkey and watching Thursday Night SmackDown. Then get up early the next morning and going Black Friday shopping.
  16. Does anybody have a picture of that?
  17. I have tons of those glasses in a metal tin a my house, I feel like one day they'll become a Kings Island collectible.
  18. During FearFest, does Racer still play classic music like the Beach Boys while waiting in line?
  19. I like the idea of turning one train on each side of The Racer backwards. Here are some of my thoughts 1. Make the tunnel when you walk into the line for The Bat and bat cave, even play some Bat sounds on the first hill. 2. Make The Crypt into a Haunted House ( Return Of Phantom Theater) 3. Re-open Action Theater with moving seats (Last time I was there it was a dinosaur movie and the seats did not work at all) 4. Boo Blasters On Boo Hill needs to be re-themed, that one was pretty obvious. 5. Put a Diamondback Snake (not real of course) in the water in the final plunge of the ride.
  20. When Snoopy does this http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_cVF2LlOx6Zc/S38f9VKwl5I/AAAAAAAALAM/sh6nTObbTSw/s320/KI_Snoopy.jpg
  21. I remember riding Scooby Doo and The Haunted Castle when it first came out, (when the guns actually worked.). Yes it wasn't the same as the Phantom Theater, but being the Scooby Doo fan that I am, I really liked it. A ride for the whole family to ride, because Scooby Doo is a show that the whole family can enjoy. But even after a while when the guns didn't always work, people still enjoyed the ride because it was themed to Scooby Doo. But when it was changed to Boo Blasters On Boo Hill, I lost interest in it. It too loud in some parts, most of the time the guns don't work or, and the storyline is eh, does it even have a story? Honestly I think Boo Blasters On Boo Hill isn't going to be at Kings Island for much longer, I'd rather see a traditional dark non-shooting Peanuts ride there in the future.
