  1. A memory of Kings Island a few years ago, a man was using his phone on the bridge on Congo Falls, I guess he didnt know that he could get wet while on the bridge, but it happend, and his phone got ruined and he was cursing up a storm. I never really noticed, but is there a warning sign about getting wet on the bridge? The best warning sign at Kings Island is definitly http://northeastohiofamilyfun.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/White-Water-Canyon-Kings-Island.jpg I like Congo Falls, but im more of a White Water Canyon kind of guy.
  2. When you play a saxaphone for your Off-Season Blues.
  3. 1. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (MK WDW. Curse you Pooh!) 2. ExtraTerrorestrial )MK WDW-but only in its original, far more intense incarnation, before Eisner ordered it toned down bc the kiddos were leaving the ride in tears) 3. Funtastic World of HB (Universal Orlando; briefly KI; zippy, trippy fun!) 4. Jaws (Universal Orlando-in its halcyon days before it fell into disrepair) 5. Snow White's Scary Adventures (MK WDW-i'm excited to ride the new mine train in a couple months, but this was a rare Fantasyland ride which clearly warned young ones that it was intense..and it was! the evil Queen popping up in unexpected places!) Honorable Mention- Body Wars (Epcot). One of the first great motion simulator rides. Re-imagine the Wonders of Life! (even if its to something like Big Hero 6. Let's face it-Epcot has slowly given up the ghost of Walt's original intent over the years, so why not just continue the trend? A good D or E ticket ride in there would be great!) Honorable Mention 2-Horizons (Epcot) mmmmmm oranges! When my family and I went to DisneyWorld, when we went and rode Stiches Great Escape, kids were crying on that too, its a ride based ona cartoon, but I can see why kids were scared on it when we rode. I watched videos of ExtraTerrorestrial and I can really understand why kids cried on the ride, I would love to go back in time to ride it, great technology!
  4. I want to go to Halloween at Knotts Scary Farm, it looks totally insane.
  5. But what if I read the title of this topic between April 18th and November 1 this year? I guess I had'nt thought of that, lol.
  6. I miss the Paramount days at Kings Island, it was just great time filled movie based rides and attractions. The current Cedar Fair days are pretty intense, with new rollercoasters, great food selections, and one wicked water park. These days may be good, but i'm excited what the future Kings Island has in store for us. I've been a Kings Island fan since birth.
  7. If you could go back in time to any amusement parks and pick 5 former rides or attractions what would you pick? Please include both ride and park 1. Nickelodeon Studios (Universal Studios Orlando) 2. King Cobra ( Kings Island) (I was too little to ride it, but it looked intense!) 3. Sounds Dangerous! Starring Drew Carrey (Epcot, DisneyWorld) 4. Phantom Theater (Kings Island) 5. Scooby Doo and the Spooky Swamp ( Six Flags, St. Louis) (My family was planning a there last year but we ended up going to The Mall of America, if I would of known it was the last year of operation for the ride, then I would of convinced my parents to go there instead.)
  8. White Water Canyon, my favorite water ride, it beats every water ride in Soak City.
  9. I dont see The Racer going anywhere anytime soon, but if it was removed, I wonder what the Brady Bunch would say.....
  10. That may be true, but if that did happen, then it would be very cool, and make Kings Island more uniqe.
  11. How about another classic wooden coaster, Kings Island hasnt got a new one in a while.
  12. 1. Classic Wooden Coaster 2. It would be a maybe on the Eiffel Tower, because it does ge cold up there. 3. I was born in 96 and every year since then I have been going. 4.Phantom Theater and Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle were ver close, but I have to pick Scooby Doo, because its my favorite cartoon, and I own all the movies on DVD, but I still miss the Phantom Theater. Great poll, keep 'em coming.
  13. I was looking at random amusement park videos, and I had come across a video called Kings Dominion History recording pre 92 part 1 (Could somebody please post it on here because im on mobile and I dont know how to post video links while I am on mobile). I think that this was supposed to be a video made by Kings Dominion to show guests a little preview about the park. But if you watch to the 3:00 minute mark, then you can hear Yogi Bear says to join him at Kings Island. Was this an actual video made for the park, and if it was, then why does it mention Kings Island, when its promoting Kings Dominion?
  14. Yeah I notice the American Flag as you walk in the tunnel towards the ride, and as you are exting the ride, going towards the tunnel, you can see the faded stars above.
  15. The Soak City revamp, was awesome. Never really cared for the Firehawk, but I love Diamondback.
  16. I don't recall a mouse chasing a cat from Phantom Theater but I do remember the one that popped up from behind a chest or something. That one is used as a prop in the Mouse Trap scene in the Board to Death maze at Halloween Haunt. You could be right, its been so long ago, my mind is a bit fuzzy.
  17. When I was little I used to love the Phantom Theater, but the giant mouse chasing the small cat scared me, I would cover my eyes until the next scene. I've watched Phantom Theater videos all the time on YouTube but I cant find the mouse seen, the reason being that the ride was too dark, much darker then Boo Blasters is currently. I am however thinking that the giant mouse chasing the small cat, is the same scene in when it was Scooby Doo and Shaggy was getting chased by a WereWolf, and what we all know today as a random tourist getting chased by skeletons. AnketÄ… the giant mouse would be an excellent prop for Halloween Haunt. Also I have a random question, did anybody see the old vulture from the old Beastie sign last Halloween Haunt next to the fence by the train in RiverTown? I wanted to take a picture of it so badly but I didnt have my phone, I really wanted to post it on here. I also saw the old Elroy Spaceship ride remiama next to the Eiffel Tower, I rode that ride when I was little, I used to ride that as soon as I got done riding Phantom Theater, then I went on to ride the Top Cat Coaster. I love reliving memories!
  18. I don't know if anybody has seen this or not but there is a rare commercial for Phantom Theater on YouTube just type Phantom Theater Advertisement Video 1992. Awesome video, the style of the commercial reminds me of another commercial I saw on YouTube that Kings Island made it was a commercial for the original Bat, which was also great.
