  1. Very similar to the You Know When Its Off-Season thread, but instead of off-season its on-season.
  2. I DESPISE carnivals for many reasons. The rides never get tested, and even if you do they are they are in such crappy condition that I wouldn't go on them anyways. Are carnies even trained to operate rides?(Probally not.) More people get injured on carnival rides than they do on amusement park rides, I don't support carnivals in any way, and whenever I'm asked to go to a carnival I always reject in going. Now at amusement parks they do test runs before the park even opens. I feel safe at an amusement park because I know that the ride operators actually knows what they're doing and are paying attention to the ride, while at a carnival they push a button or turn a lever, and turn around and smoke.
  3. Speaking of FOF, does anybody know what the video they show you in line is supposed to mean? I've been trying to figure it out for years, but yet it still puzzles me every time I watch it.
  4. That looks so awesome but the total opposite of Disney's Blizzard Beach!
  5. I actually like the Funtv's, (except when I'm waiting in line for Boo Blasters, I admit I actually miss the spooky sounds when you enter the building.) I think it would be cool if they showed clips of Xtreme Coaster Wars on the Funtvs, which Kings Island has been on a couple of times. (New episodes soon!), or throw in some classic Kings Island footage. Overall I have thought the Funtvs have been great, and makes the time go by faster when your waitng in line.
  6. Heights dont scare me, they used to when I was little but not anymore. I feel quite secure on WindSeeker especially when the ride plays inspirational music (Ric Flairs theme song.) Its a wonderful scenery when you can go above Coney Mall ( and the rest of the park for that matter.) Overall I love WindSeeker just like all the other rides at Kings Island.
  7. Random Question: Is Kings Island selling any merchandise with the new Bat logo?
  8. The 80s store, most definitely, a lot of rare items you can find that aren't sold in most stores. Also as Magenta Lizard has already said before, the $10 and under store is a great place to find deals from candy to t-shirts. Last year I got a Vortex hat really cheap. There are tons of deals at that shop.
  9. We're going to Kings Island in July this year, instead of running straight to a coaster, we're running straight towards Shake, Rattle, & Roll!
  10. I consider Surf Dog to be more of a family ride than a kiddie ride. I can say the same thing about Race For Your Life Charlie Brown and Flying Ace Ariel Chase.
  11. I have not been yet this year, could you please explain what the new Boocifer addition is? I'm very curious now, thanks! New Boocifer addition? Does anybody have a picture?
  12. Rock & Roll All Night, Who Let The Dogs Out, and Good Vibrations are my favorite ones on the list. Did they ever play Danger Zone by the Top Gun Coaster?
  13. Life is a roller coaster. You can either scream every time you hit a bump or you can throw your hands in the air and enjoy it.
  14. That is very true, and I like your idea.
  15. I don't know if somebody mentioned this or not but Kings Island is offering free admission to active military members. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2015/05/18/kings-island-offering-free-admission-to-military-members-veterans.html
  16. This is a Kings Island classic family ride, I hope it doesn't get removed.
  17. One more member should vote, I can't believe this poll ended in a tie, this is the first time I have ever seen this happen.
  18. I'm suprised that The Bat almost never has a wait line, in my opinion its one of the best coasters in the park.
  19. I don't care much for Harry Potter either, but I am a big fan of Nintendo. But theres lots of other things I lenjoy at Universal Studios like The Simpsons Ride,The Soon to be New King Kong Ride, Revenge Of The Mummy, and whats left of Nickelodeon Studios.
  20. Riding coasters for life!

  21. For I reccomend PotatoWorks in RiverTown, ( I reccomend the chile-cheese fries), and Hank's Burritto Shack right outside of Coney Mall. Don't forget Banshee Ice Cream in Action Zone, or Blue Ice Cream in Planet Snoopy!
  22. I remember once in the early 2000's, somebody thought that the Scooby Doo & the Haunted Castle ride was still the Smurf ride.
  23. I would be there in a flash if 1. I was in Ohio 2. I didnt have school 3. I had a car. This would be really awesome though.
